Cette belle salle est un favori avec des invités. Petite véranda "shaker", baignoire sur pattes, salle de bains privative. Confortable et propre.
Charmante chambre donnant sur le boulevard. Peints à la main peinture murale de fleurs au-dessus des fenêtres de la tourelle. Propre et confortable.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. A comfortable bed and a quiet room made for a very relaxing stay. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The highlight of our stay was the carriage ride the next morning. We received a wonderful tour of the town with many interesting homes and stories from the town. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful B&B while visiting friends just a few blocks down the street. The owners, Nancy and Wayne, are lovely and two of the best hosts in the business. Nancy made sure our breakfasts were to-die-for. Scrumptious meals prepared with love from local and farm fresh ingredients. Our room was the only one with a separate bathroom with a shower stall. The other two rooms have private bathrooms within the room itself that have handheld showers and claw foot tubs. Coffee and tea are available round the clock. The front porch beckoned me with a hot cup of coffee to sit and enjoy the temped weather and quiet neighborhood surroundings. Just the right setting to clear the cobwebs and start the day off right. We enjoyed a horse drawn carriage ride through Columbus with their magnificent Clydesdales Lou and Lash. Would definitely make a return visit to the Columbia Carriage House.

This was a great find for us. We called on B&B's for a last minute getaway. All were full and we found this one in my hometown. It did not exist when I grew up there and now living in Madison rarely go back to little Columbus. Booking was very easy. The owners had been away when we arrived. They gave us instructions on how to enter. When we arrived there was a nice note and options on which room to choose. They also left out wine and snacks. We found a lovely room on the second floor. The house as a whole was extremely clean. It was built in 1903 if I recall. The molding and decor are very antique which creates a wonderful setting. The Columbus Carriage House is walking distance to downtown for dinner. We drove because of the rain but would love to go back on a nice summer day and walk around town. The library is nearby and the town was home of Johnny Depp Public Enemy movie. We relaxed for awhile on the main level with some wine and it was like the house was ours. No one else was there. We went to a local brewery for dinner and then returned to the Columbus Carriage House for a glass of wine and retired for the night. We woke and went to the main level to meet the owners. Both were lovely people. We enjoyed a chat during breakfast and learned more about the house and Columbus. We were supposed to do a carriage ride which would have been extra BUT mother nature did not cooperate so we have a reason to go back!! Thank you so much Nancy and Wayne for a great memory and stay!!

Wayne et Nancy amour des chevaux et ont deux Clydesdale et un poney sur notre ferme juste au sud de Columbus. Le Clydesdale, Lash et Lou, sont utilisés pour donner des promenades en calèche. Ils sont âgés de 4 ans et cette année, ils apprennent à faire des tours .... maintenant que c'est amusant!
