Lovely place! Very conveniently located - you can walk to downtown shops, museums and restaurants. Close to the attractions of the Land Between the Lakes for all kinds of recreation. Easy to access off of I-24. Gary is an excellent host who makes you feel relaxed and cared for. He's very friendly, informative, knowledgeable of the area, and an EXCELLENT cook. His breakfasts are culinary works of art. I've stayed in 3 different rooms here; the Garden Room, the Yorktown, the Bordeaux. All are lovely and very reasonably priced. You can stay at this beautiful historic inn and spend all your money on the nearby recreation!.

This is our 3rd stay at Futrell House and it won't be our last. We found this gem when we started making trips to Kentucky to do ancestry work in nearby Hopkinsville. Wev'e now made it our "home away from home" when visiting the area. Gary is such a fun, upbeat host -- and a great cook. We always love talking with him and enjoying his wonderful hospitality.

Historic building and decor, set in the green hills of southwestern KY. Innkeeper made the visit special with his entertaining stories about small-town life and his fabulous cooking (perfectly grilled plums drizzled with honey!).

My husband and I have stayed at the Futrell House B&B three times and plan to come back again. We love the hospitality, the rooms and the delicious breakfast prepared by Gary. We truly feel like family when we visit the Futrell House.

En route to Land Between the Lakes, we stopped in Cadiz for the night. Gary, our wonderful host, welcomed us in and gave us a tour of the historic homes. Old family photos lined the walls and hot water was on tap in the lobby to make a warm cup of tea. Gary gave us the rundown of places to eat in the area (options were somewhat limited) and we headed off the Lodge for a delicious dinner of fried catfish. Upon returning to the hotel, we slept soundly for at least 9 hours and were woken to an incredible breakfast of homemade donuts, fresh fruit, and eggs (from the chickens out back) topped with a sun-dried tomato pesto (from tomatoes Gary grew). As great as the meal was, the real treat was getting to chat with Gary as we ate. It was my first time visiting Kentucky (I was there to visit the town my grandpa grew up in) and learned so much about the people, the history and locals politics from Gary. He then gave us detailed recommendations for activities and hikes to do in Land Between the Lakes and where to eat on our way to Memphis. Patti's 1880s Settlement in Grand Rivers is a must see! I hope to make it back to this lovely B&B again soon!

Celebrated our first anniversary at the Futtrell House. The owner met us and showed us around the house and have us a brief history. House was in very good condition and well maintained. Great night's rest and fine breakfast along with good conversation with other guests and owner. Will be back again.
A king-size bed and daybed with classic wrought-iron styling give The Bordeaux Room the charm of a lavish hotel room in the French Quarter. The king-size bed can be converted into two twin beds. The private attached bath features an old-fashioned clawfoot tub with shower.
Dramatic architectural details and a stunning 200-year-old queen size bed make this cozy space an experience unique to the Deep South of the 1800s. Attached bathroom amenities include a shower and pedestal sink.
Sink into the luxury of a king-size memory foam bed wrapped in high-quality linens. The nonfunctional fireplace with original mantle is filled with candles. This second-story room overlooks historic Main Street. The private detached bath features a walk-in shower.
A king-size canopy bed and an Amish-built electric fireplace make this the perfect romantic bed and breakfast getaway. Also functioning as our honeymoon suite, the room features a spacious private bathroom with a two-person Whirlpool tub and shower.
