My husband ran across this B&B when looking for a place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We spent 3 nights and loved every minute of it. It is very quiet and the scenery is extraordinary. They have all the luxuries you would ever need. My husband BBQ'd T-Bones while I made baked potatoes in the microwave. They have a well stocked fridge, delicious muffins and fruit in the morning and a gorgeous Jacuzzi that we never had the chance to use but it did look inviting. I would recommend to anyone needing some time away in a secluded spot.

My husband reserved this B and B for our little get away and I was sooo excited about staying here. We enjoyed our stay so much we have plans to go back. The cat, Harry Potter, greeted us every morning by sitting at the front door patiently waiting for a rub or two. There was plenty of hiking to be done while on the property. The baby goats were so much fun to watch while they played, jumped and ran!
The bed was the bomb, so comfortable and cozy. We rode our motorcycle out there and the owners were generous to share all the neat roads to go down to look at the flowers and wild life. Breakfast was yummy with all the homemade muffins and Mexican omelette!
After a LONG ride, the jacuzzi came in handy for tired bones, highly recommend this.
They have a grill outside which we used to cook on and enjoyed just being outside in the serene atmosphere. You have your own entrance and can come and go as you please and not disturb anyone! I highly recommend this pleasant place.
Charming and beautiful piece of land, Excellent hosts. Great value.

You get much more than is advertised on their website, very authentic and fine hosts. 22-acre well manicured property for walking around or jogging. Right in the heart of beautiful Hill Country.
The room is very well maintained and clean, but beware, they do advertise it as a queen size bed. My wife and I both believe it is only a full. So this may be an issue for space if you and your partner tend to stretch out and sleep spread eagle.
Also, if your wife is like mine, and tends to "Crocodile Death Roll" the blankets away from you in the middle of the night, these blankets and the comforter are nice slick, big and fluffy, so it makes blanket recovery missions much easier.
Amazingly delicious homemade breads and the mexican omelette for continental breakfast.
I'm not sure how the host couple is making a profit by feeding us like this. That is not a complaint.
Very knowledgeable of the local area and they give great advice on scenic drives, and good restaurants.
A word of warning, on the Jacuzzi, make sure it is correctly filled (High Enough) to the proper level, before turning on the jets,
otherwise, if the water is too low, you will turn the Jacuzzi and room into a new Schlitterbahn water park franchise.
Thankfully, everything dries well, eventually, with all the fans on. They give you plenty of towels which is awesome.
Also, there is a an excellent Solar System jigsaw puzzle in the closet, (I'm normally a Jenga man, but when in Rome...)
And you and your partner should be encouraged to put it together, you'll notice that Pluto is still a planet. Thank God.
The goats are adorable, the cat Harry Potter is an excellent guard cat just outside your door, and also a good tour guide and bodyguard for the nature hikes.
(Don't worry about allergies, my wife and I are both highly allergic to cats, but they have nice new anti allergen-pillows on the bed, the cat stays outside, and as I've said before, the room is immaculate)
We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful Out-in-the-Country Experience

Coming in from the City, this was a breath of fresh Hill Country air.
We enjoyed getting to know our hosts, the Murphy's, walking the acreage
and the goats roaming. Two-person jacuzzi, wi-fi, the comforts of the
Country. Our cat mascot, Harry Potter, was a charming
outdoor host, of sorts. Easy drive to Fredericksburg and Enchanted
Rock. Per our host's recommendation, we drove the Willow City Loop,
Majestic vistas galore. We loved the peace and quiet of the country. We
Will definitely recommend and be back.

We enjoyed staying in Willow Ridge Retreat during our vacation.Betty and Ross gave us a very warm welcome and were helpful with tips for what to do in the area. Also as we needed support in finding a dentist they even provided us with a phone so that we did not have to use our German cell.
The home baked breads and muffins were very good.
There´s no dining at the B&B - just clicked s.th. because the system needs ist - there is no n/a.

We loved our stay at Willow Ridge. Betty and Ross are very attentive to your needs and very helpful about the area. Loved the privacy and all the extra's. A wonderful and economical place to stay. A great value, loved the large mirrored jacuzzi, nice romantic touch. The double vanity and shower are roomy. The microwave and mini-fridge are handy. We even enjoyed a walk in the evening and the countryside. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay on the outskirts of Fredericksburg. Fabulous homemade breads ! Perfect place to enjoy a weekend escape.
