Sharp Lodge

My wife of four days and I just stayed at Sharp Lodge and we felt right at home within minutes. Roger and Treva went out of their way to make us comfortable. We loved the outdoor hot tub under the stars and nestled in the wilderness. Breakfast was fresh made and delicious, with the real star being Treva's homemade jam. Fortunately, she sells them, too. So we bought 4. My wife got to try her favorite fruit, cantaloupe, in jam for the first time ever! The room was huge and clean with satellite tv and wireless internet. I'm already looking forward to seeing them on our first anniversary this time next year!

This is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at. The owners are so nice & friendly & bend their back backwards to be sure you have everything you need and accomodate you every way possible. It is one of the most pleasant stays I've ever had anywhere!

I would highly recommend this lodge to any body. The rooms were huge, bathroom was spacious, the owners are the nicest people I've ever met. The only thing that was wrong with our room was a gross stain on the bathroom door and didn't have shower mats to stand on after you get done showerin. Other than that it was heaven beds are great, tv plenty big and loud, plenty of outlets. If your wanting to visit smithville stay here there is nothing that can beat it up there.

Our party of 8 had 3 of the Lodge's 4 rooms for 4 nights. We thought the accommodations were excellent, and Roger and Treva Sharp bent over backwards to meet our every desire. The rather plain exterior of the Lodge should not put anyone off--the rooms are very large and comfortable, and breakfast was down-home country style. We will definitely return for another stay, and we recommend it to anyone who enjoys a family atmosphere in a bed and breakfast.

A family reunion to introduce a new grandchild to our TN relatives was what took us to a lovely place called Sharp Lodge. We spent a long July 4th weekend at the Fiddler's Jamboree and enjoyed our cool, clean, large rooms and breakfast with Treva and Roger Sharp. She makes a wonderful blackberry cobbler. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. Our hosts were so accommodating and friendly. We look forward to staying with them again should our Georgia family members head to Middle TN again. They even have refrigerators in their rooms!

What beautiful people the Sharps are! The rooms are gorgeous and the price is very affordable for what you get! They are like having your Grandparents right there while you're away from home. It's the best cookin' I've ever had over the whole stay. I don't know how Treva can keep everything so beautiful and clean as busy as she is keeping up with your every need before you even think to ask. They are like family the moment you show up. I will definately come to stay again! Thanks so much for being wonderful. You really make a differance with your friendship, hospitality and sweet hearts matched with amazing kitchen skills!

The Sharps are a wonderful couple who are very friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the food is delicious. The only problem was a pretty big one for me. The food is served in a family style dining room that is very cluttered with personal papers and everything, I can handle that but, after eating I stuck my head in the kitchen to thank Treva and the kitchen was disgusting. I understand a kitchen becomes messy when cooking, but it mirrored the dining room with clutter and it was just dirty. I probably wouldn't have eaten there if I had seen the kitchen first. Now, they are very nice people and the rooms are great, but the eating area and the kitchen need some work. I will gladly stay there again, but I don't think I'll eat there again.

Our party of 4 was in the area for a wedding. We booked the 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. It was nice to return to our beautiful, clean, spacious rooms each evening. I have not been this rested in a very long time! We enjoyed the full country breakfast each morning and got to experience a true southern dinner on our second night stay. Treva and Roger want you to feel like family and we left feeling like we are now part of the Sharp family! We will definitely stay here again. Our party of 10 had a great time at Sharp Lodge. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. Our two night stay was very enjoyable, the food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. The owners were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. We had traveled from Ohio for a family reunion, and were very happy with Sharp lodge. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

We arrived in the cold and rain to a warm atmosphere, the dining table set and covered with home cooked food. To the tired and hungry traveler, it was like arriving at Grandma’s house at mealtime. The dinner was great, the breakfast was even better. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was the best night’s sleep we had had in a week. We will definitely stop again if we are in the area.

Sharp Lodge is the epitome of southern hospitality! Our party of 15 was well accomodated in the spacious and beautiful rooms over Labor Day Weekend. Roger and Treva are the ultimate hosts and provided for our every need. A wonderful place that we will definitely visit often! Thanks so much for everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sharp Lodge. Every aspect of the stay exceeded our expectations. Roger and Treva were the perfect hosts, hospitable and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and enjoy your stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. This is not your average lodging. A full, hot breakfast was included in the room rate. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We only regret not being able to stay longer.

My family of four had the honor of being guests of Roger and Treva Sharp. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Sharps are truly pleasant people and full of kindness. I will be staying with them anytime I am in the Cookeville area again. Thank you.
