  • The pool, which has outstanding views to the main fishing pond, is great for cooling off during the warm Tennessee months.
    The green room is one of two bedrooms in the downstairs Serenity Suite.
    The blue room is one of two bedrooms located in the downstairs Serenity Suite.
    The Serenity Suite's living room is spacious and perfect for families. It features a wood-burning stove, electric mantel fireplace, flat-screen television and a bookcase filled with books and games.
    The Serenity Suite offers this full sized kitchen with excellent views out each window and direct access to the pool.
    The Mellow Master Suite is located upstairs, just off the Tranquil Tea Room. The suite has an electric fireplace, wide screen tv, double recliner sofa, full master bath, and a hot tub on the screened-in porch.
    A special treat for those who reserve the Mellow Master Suite is a screened in porch with hot tub that overlooks the property. This room is great for honeymooners or couples celebrating a special anniversary!
    The Moonshadow Barn is available for guests to rent for weddings and special gatherings.
    The newly-renovated Moonshadow Barn is a great venue for weddings!

    "Checking Out From The World"

    When my husband and I married two years ago we "hit the ground running" and our lives, like so many others, are too full of busyness. Neither of us had stayed in a B&B before and this seemed a low-key way to spend our anniversary. When I chanced upon Peaceful Oaks I knew, "This is it!" And it truly was! Every dream, desire, and need was met here and the ambience was unbelievable. I did not expect such luxury and beauty. Miss Johnnie is a wonderful hostess, cook, and today I consider her a friend as well. I cannot rave on Peaceful Oaks enough. It was simply divine!!!

    Our first bed and breakfast! What a great experience!

    My wife and I have talked about staying at a bed and breakfast many times but have never gone ahead and tried it. With our four year anniversary coming up, I thought this would be a romantic and fun adventure for us to try. Peaceful Oaks and Mrs. Johnnie did not disappoint. She and I spoke on the phone and traded emails setting up our itinerary. She gave me some amazing recommendations on things to do. When we arrived at her house we were so impressed with the decor and all the ambiance of the house. The Mellow Master suite was very romantic. The next morning we were treated to an amazing breakfast and great conversation. Thank you mam for treating us so well. We will definitely spread the word about your hospitality. This was the perfect way to spend our anniversary.

    Peaceful is perfect!

    The name says it all! Such a peaceful place to spend the weekend. True southern hospitality and food! This was truly our home away from home for our anniversary. Ms. Johnnie was such a wonderful host. On our list to do again!

    The Perfect Relaxing Getaway

    Our stay at Peaceful Oaks was lovely. The house is well stocked with anything you could need on vacation. The suite we rented even had a washer and a dryer! Johnnie and her sweet dog, Lucy, really made us feel at home.

    The Mellow Master, the newest addition to Peaceful Oaks Bed and Breakfast, is just off the Tranquil Tea Room on the main floor. It features a large master bedroom, bathroom and a private hot tub, making it perfect for couples and honeymooners.

    Peaceful Oaks B&B - Breathtaking

    I had the loveliest experience in my Bed and Breakfast adventures yet. I had a special weekend trip to see my family in Western Tennessee, and normally I would stay in a hotel in Jackson Tn. However, being the B&B lover that I am, I wanted to find one in the local area and give it a try. I found the “Peaceful Oaks”, B&B online and made the call to Johnnie. I am so very thankful that I did, her graciously kindle spirit overwhelmed me from the moment that I called her. We stayed in the Serenity Suite and from the moment you enter, you will be literally swept away from the various décor that would appease any art lover type. The bedrooms are so warm and inviting, you will not want to leave them. We stayed outside much of the time, the beautiful pool area and covered patio just seems to wrap itself around you and comfort all your worries. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Johnnie it was like coming home to see your favorite aunt! The breakfast is the most delectable food that I have ever tasted, from the warm cheddar biscuits, the bacon, the delicious hash brown casserole, and her grandmother’s recipe for breakfast peach cobbler. The presentation was outstanding, the food was five stars and the whole ambiance was impeccable. The surrounding landscape is quite beautiful, from the singing birds, to the calmness of the land. This is truly a tranquil place in Western Tennessee.

    What a wonderful evening and night we spent at Peaceful Oaks. It was a wonderful day to celebrate my birthday and romantic, too. The breakfast was wonderful, the quiet attmisphere was so relaxing. The owners so friendly and accomidating.

    Johnnie was an exceptional innkeeper. She takes pride in her bed and breakfast and it shows. The house and our suite was very clean. She greeted us and even left us homemade cookies. The pool and surrounding area is very inviting. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Ive had french toast from a personal chef before and hers was ten times better. She showers you with lots of options for breakfast, you wont leave hungary! Our suite was very nice and decorated very pretty, plenty of tvs around, love that. thanks so much for a wonderful weekend we really enjoyed staying there.
