This is the only first floor bedroom.It host a beautiful antique double Murphy bed which allows us to transform the room into a dinning room, scrapbooking room, or meeting room as needed. It is located in the back of the main hall just inside the back door which is accessible to the outdoor handicap ramp. The private bath is located in the room with a Jacuzzi tub with surround shower. The fireplace lends a cozy atmosphere for those cold winter days. Just a few steps from the kitchen the aroma of breakfast is sure to get you moving.

An in room clawfoot tub allows soaking pleasures with the glow of the fireplace on cold days to relax you. Wake up to the aroma of a southern breakfast to start your day off right.
Sailor's Rest lends a nautical touch of decor as the front view of the Cumberland river and side view of Wild Cat Creek lake await you. This queen size bed is one of the original pieces of furniture belonging to the Lewis homestead. A corner adult size daybed is a wonderful addition for relaxing or sharing with an additional person on your stay. Sit and relax in one of the wing back chairs and bask in the glow of the fireplace on a cool day. In room clawfoot tub with shower surround gives a unique feeling to the room. Private in-room bath. The temptation of a real country breakfast awaits you as you wake.

Lewis would rent this horse themed room out to the dock hands for a restful night off the boat. Back then it would sleep 7 men, hence called the #7 room. Today we have added a queen size bed,suitable for a couple, or include the family and sleep on one of the two adult size bunks. These bunks were crafted from the remains of the old smoke house which was located right out back. A private bath includes a walk in shower and an in room wash pan style sink. Enjoy the view of the pastures as you wake up to the aroma of southern cooking drifting from the kitchen below.

Construit en 1892, par le général de division Thomas W. Lewis, cette maison détient l'esprit du Sud. Restaurations ont pris dans le temps où la vie est un peu plus lent. Assis au sommet de la colline, surplombant la rivière de Cumberland et les milles de terres agricoles, vous trouverez la paix et la simplicité des jours passés. Cette maison antibellum vous invite à s'asseoir sur le grand porche en colonnes ou se promener au lac où vous pouvez assister à la faune dans son habitat naturel. Nous avons l'intention de maintenir notre existence "pays" par la ferme de partage avec vous, avec un petit déjeuner au sud de bonne ole. Cette maison est ornée d'une familles heirlooms et antiquités, tous sont conçus pour être très "palpable", à droite vers la Chine utilisé pour nos repas. Venez asseoir un sort et faire tremper dans le sentiment de maison sans les soucis!!

We were fortunate to stay at the Lylewood Inn. What a beautiful place to spend the night. The home with the history, food, rooms and wonderful owner made it a great night. Well worth the drive out to see it and stay the night!

Although travel weary when we arrived, you welcomed the five of us to your beautifully restored home of a bygone era. Your large array of prepared from scratch dishes that you served for both dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations. How you can garden, can, bake and continually care for this early 1800's home and continually welcome new guests is amazing. I'd recommend this experience to anyone interested in stepping back in time, wanting genuine hospitality as you showed us, and wholesome food in a quiet, country setting. You greeted us like family. Thank you Mandy. Perhaps we'll come that way again some day.

I needed some rest and relaxation for the weekend. I was able to get it at the Lylewood Inn. The service was great and they treated you like family. The food was great!! I will recommend it to anyone needing to get away.

We love this B&B. It was our second time here. Lylewood Inn, a gracious southern home is relaxing. Mandy is very accommodating and a wonderful cook I love it here, its soooo peaceful. Enjoyed the new touches and improvements added since last time we stayed. Purchased Jams & Jelly to share with family and co-workers. Delicious! Excellent value, worth the drive off the main highway. Love the Peacock! Will be back God Willing

This B&B is absolutely the BEST! Mandy makes you feel right at home the moment you step foot inside. The historic home is full of character and the view is stunning. And the FOOD!!!!!! WOW!!! The food is out of this world! She is a great cook and hostess! This is a must and we are already planning our next trip!

As a surprise, my husband took me to dinner for Valentine's Day at the Lylewood Inn and it definitely was a wonderful surprise! Our hostess, Mandy and her daughter served us a delicious meal that exceeded anything I was expecting and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house. De Clarksville : Prendre l'autoroute 79 vers Douvres. Tournez à gauche sur l'autoroute 233 dans la Communauté de Woodlawn. Suivez approximetly 7 milles. Tournez à gauche à l'arrêt du 3-way qui est juste après l'église du Christ de Needmore. Suivez les 4 milles plus par le biais de la "terre de bas" qui s'étend le long de la côte de la rivière de Cumberland. Vous va venir à l'intersection de la route, remonter la colline sur la route de Cemetary. La maison se trouve juste au sommet de la colline et peut être vu pour sur un kilomètre avant vous effectivement arriver. Erin ou de la ville de Cumberland : Cross le traversier dans la ville de Cumberland, puis allez environ 2,4 milles et tourner à droite sur Wildcat Creek(this road is in a sharp bend in the road with an old white farm house directly in front of you.) Passez ensuite environ 1,8 kilomètres autour du lac, une fois autour du Lac vous prendrez un lecteur jusqu'à la colline à côté d'une maison de potence. L'auberge est juste au sommet de la colline.

Suivez environ 1,5 mille à airborn 101e puis tourner à droite. Suivez environ 5-7 milles jusqu'à la route se termine, tourner à droite. Accédez à environ 3 km, puis tourner à gauche sur l'autoroute 233 dans le Woodlawn Cummunity. De ce point, suivez les instructions à la propriété répertoriée.
