HUNTER'S RETREAT: The Inn's largest MAIN HOUSE guest room.The only room at the Inn without a bath within the room itself.Bath is private, 8 feet across a hall,& very well connected to the room. THE HEART ROOM is located in THE MAIN HOUSE on the 2nd floor. Victorian. Romantic. Offers an 1800's double sized sleigh bed,framed by a bay window. An additional double bed is within the room. Luxurious bedding. TV/DVD/VCR. WI-FI. AC/H. Ceiling fan. Desk. The bath has a shower, large tub, & Ralph Lauren wallpaper. A large sitting area where guests can relax or watch TV is just outside this bedroom. Excludes Special Packages.

Located in THE CARRIAGE HOUSE,and named after Bonnie's former antique shop in Florida, this room has such a warm, welcoming feel about it. Colors are green, blue and beige. Situated off the front portico, Things From The Attic views The Main House rear grounds. It has french doors, reading chairs, a windsor rocker, and a desk for workspace. A wonderful sconced oak mirrored wood burning fireplace is within the room. The bathroom has a shower. Ceilings are 11' pine beaded board and flooring is before the turn of the century heart of pine.Wi-Fi and free long distance calling within the USA.

Located in THE CARRIAGE HOUSE and a favorite with many guests. Very cozy. Bed is antique iron. A dining table doubles for evening workspace or letter writing. An oak mirrored fireplace adds to the warmth of this room. Decor is Black and ecru toile with red and chartreuse decorative touches. Wi-Fi and free long distance calling within the USA.

During the 1988 restoration of The Carriage House,we began referring to this room as "The Savannah Room". Much of what is within,was collected over the years in Savannah, Georgia. The decor is masculine. Walls are indigo blue with brown and ecru paisley wallpaper. Audubon, along with skipper and other pleasant old prints adorn the walls. The pine fireplace mantel, is original to the house. An alcove provides an interesting place for old, well traveled luggage and decorative items. A small table is in the room for writing and workspace. Claw-footed tub/shower. Wi-Fi&free LD calls w/in USA.

Located in THE CARRIAGE HOUSE,and named in honor of a couple from Connecticut who visit each Spring for many years. Our claim is that George Washington never slept here,but Peter and Edna Hewes have. This room has 2 twin beds. The bed set&dresser are from the 1800's and have colored floral inlays. Walls are papered with a delft print. The pine fireplace is original to the house and is tiled with hand painted delft tiles. The bath offers a claw-footed tub with a shower. Wi-Fi and free long distance calls within the USA.

LOVES BOUQUET: This suite is located off the front portico.Its decor is elegant old world.Period architectural pieces are found in unexpected places. A comfortable queen bed with pillow topped mattress,plus a feather bed&down comforter are draped with luxurious linens. A twin pillow topped bed has like bedding & is in a separate sleeping area within the room. The bath has a sunken whirlpool for two,large Kohler shower,&a double sink vanity. Desk.Fireplace. Located in THE GARDEN COTTAGE, this colorful (greens,peach, red,and soft pale yellow) room with any ivy topiary theme, was designed to not let you forget you're staying in a cottage. Located off the front portico, it views 2 garden areas. Cabbage roses and ivy, give this room a happy and romantic place to rest your heads for a stay.Cottage needlework, colored glass, collectible American pottery, and a fireplace, make this room inviting.
