"If you are looking for a little slice of paradise in Catania, along with lots of TLC, the Ananda B&B is the best place to stay. I stayed at Ananda for 2 weeks and not only never lacked for something new to see and do in the city and in the surrounding area, but was well taken care of by Kate. Wait until you taste her homemade date bread and homemade jams. YUM! Unfortunately I was ill during my stay, and Kate not only brought breakfast to my room, but she also checked in on me later in the day and brought me homemade soup. Who does that?!?! Above and beyond any service you will get from a hotel! My room had 2 twin beds, a dresser, desk, and wardrobe. I also had a desk and Wifi - as I was working in the afternoons. The location is great and from the plant-filled patio you can see water. Everything is within walking distance - with the park only 2 blocks away. You will be delighted with the facility, location, and great hostess - Kate Hume. "
