The Hotel is housed in a beautiful 18th Century building and great care has been taken during recent refurbishments to retain its character and style. Our Training Academy is also based here and as a registered charity, we provide training opportunities for young people wishing to enter the Hospitality industry. We also offer a wide range of business training courses and personal skills workshops for individual or corporate customers. Please note that our accomodation is 4 serviced apartments and are not a bed and breakfast ** We are open for coffees and high teas from 10am till 4pm, with our Buffet lunch available from 12 noon till 2pm. Sunday Roast is served from 12 noon till 3pm every Sunday. Dinner is served in the main restaurant from 7pm till 8.30pm Friday and Saturday. Set in lovely woodland surroundings and gardens, with great views, the Hotel is ideally situated only 5 mins from the town centre (by car) or (15mins by foot, max). Yet once here you could be mistaken for thinking you are an hour away from the busy town due to the quiet relaxed feel and great surroundings. Soroba House Hotel prides itself on sourcing all of its produce locally; fish, seafood, meat, vegetables - all come from Oban and the surrounding area. The restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday evenings out of season. Service is from 7pm with the last order taken at 9pm. Drop in or make a reservation.
