"The Inn is located at the eastern edge of the Great Smoky Moutnain National Park at an elevation of 5000 feet. We actually hiked to the Inn on one of the trails that passes along the edge of the park to within 10 yards of the Inn. To go from one of the most beautiful areas in the world to one of the most beautiful Inns in the world was a treat we will never forget. The Swag is as good as it gets when it comes to small country Inns. Everything was awesome - the room, the views, the amenities, the service, the food, and most importantly, the innkeeper. Deener greeted us when we arrived. She was at breakfast and dinner, eating and conversing with the guests. She was gracious and hospitable, and her touch, along with her husbands, Dan, could be seen through out the Inn and property. It was a special two nights that my wife and I will never forget.
