    Our intimate family owned and run hotel is right in the heart of the Borders just two miles from the main town of Galashiels, in the tranquil village of Clovenfords.Nested in the country, but never too far away from all the local amenities. Come and explore the rolling hills, river walks and woodlands at your leisure and know that a warm welcome will always await your return. We believe in good value for money, comfort, friendly service and pride ourselves on our range of fine foods and beverages.So whether you are stopping for a coffee, or staying for a month, you will always feel at home at the Clovenfords Country Hotel. There’s no pretension here, we want you to feel like you are in your own surroundings. Cosseting beds chosen for comfort, blankets and duvets galore, crisp sheets and pillows you can melt into, ensuring you enjoy a wonderful night of restful sleep. Some rooms have sofas for you to while away the hours on, and desks for you to write at. There are tea and Coffee making facilities in every room and all the rooms have ensuite facilities with piping hot water to soothe all your aches and pains. All the rooms have satellite TV, so you can be sure to find something you like. At present, the Clovenfords has 8 rooms, each one decorated to a high standard and furnished so as to make the guest feel completely at home. Activities Fishing, Walking, Cycling, Golf, Rugby, Shopping, Historic sites – including Abbotsford, Traquair, the Border Abbeys, Floors Castle and many more. Edinburgh is just a 40 minute drive away, or you could choose to explore the wealth of Border towns including: Galashiels, Melrose, Kelso, Selkirk, Hawick, Duns and Berwick. Services A choice of three eating areas – The Vineyard, Scott Lounge and Public Bar. Large, seated outdoor sun terrace. Purpose built car park for patrons. Open 7 days, serving meals and snacks from 12 noon to 9.30pm FREE WIFI IS AVAIABLE IN THE LOUNGE AREA.

In Galashiels take the A72 for Peebles, we are approximately 2 miles from the town. M6 South|Road|15|Leave the M6 at Carlye and follow the A7 to Galashiels. In Galashiels take the A72 for Peebles, we are just 2 miles from the town. Edinburgh|Road|15|On the A7. Follow the A72 road through Peebles following signs for Galashiels. turn off onto the B710, which will bring you right to the door. On the A68. Follow the A68 to Melrose. At the Melrose roundabout take the A6091 following signs for Galashiels and Peebles. In Galashiels take the A72 for Peebles, we are just 2 miles from the town.
