Major towns such as Hamilton and Motherwell offer regular services through Carluke and onward to Lanark.;GLASGOW AND EDINBURGH|Train|30|Carluke is served by one of the major lines from both Edinburgh & Glasgow with a regular schedule for Carluke. Trains from the South stopping at Motherwell enables a transfer to the Carluke line with trains running every half hour. Edinburgh trains is a more limited service although an alternative route with more frequent trains is available through nearby Cleland with a 15 minute taxi journey to Carluke.;THE SOUTH|Road|50|From the South exit M74 at Canderside Toll J8 taking the 5th exit A71 for Shawlands hotel follow the A71 untill the 1st roundabout straight thru until next roundabout take 1st exit A71 Edinburgh and follow directions as for Glasgow.;EDINBURGH AND THE NORTH|Road|30|From Edinburgh and the North M8 westbound until J6 Lanark continue on A73 until Carluke. On entering carluke follow same directions as for Glasgow;GLASGOW AND THE NORTH|Road|25|From Glasgow and the north M8 eastbound until M74 South (Carlisle) exit at J8 Lanark follow Clyde Valley Tourist Route A72 util roundabout take 1st exit at next roundabout take !st exit A71 Edinburgh carry on thru Overtown until roundabout take 3rd exit A721 at next roundabout take 2nd exit A73 Carluke. At Carluke carry straight on through roundabout and 1st set of lights at second set turn left A721 Peebles follow until zebra crossing at High School turn left and B&B is on the right.;
