Best place to stay in Woonsocket
sur août 19, 2015
My husband & I stayed at the Pillsbury House B & B for two weeks. We were visiting family & friends and our stay there could not have been more pleasant. Roger & Corinne made us feel right at home immediately. There was breakfast each morning served by Chris (housekeeper and cook) and she took good care of us during our stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Pillsbury House is set in a very quiet section of the city so noise was not a factor. We will be returning to Woonsocket in the near future and we would not stay anywhere else. Chris & Ray
Short Anniversary Getaway!

As full time grad-students and parents, we were looking for a simple, inexpensive trip to celebrate our 11 years of marriage. Our hosts were courteous, and the value of our stay was exactly as we had hoped. Cute downtown for meals!

Definitely a large Victorian house with all the upkeep, amenities, large rooms, high ceilings, oriental rugs. Very excellent location for cities of culture and history. Woonsockets bike trail gets a star.

We visited NE for 2 weeks and stayed at 12 top rated B&Bs. This was among the best. Room was large with a remarkably comfortable bed, large bath, adequate parking, great breakfast, superb service, and at an outstanding price to boot.. Doesn't get any better. We chose this B&B because we needed to be close to the Providence airport the next day, but it turned out to be our favorite. Wish we had had it in Portland. Highly recommended. The all 5 star ratings I gave is not silliness, it was that good.

Pillsbury house was the ideal spot to introduce my husband & I to the world of bed& breakfast Inns. We were welcomed in by a personalized note then met by Roger, the owner who gave us a tour and filled us in in the history of house. Breakfast was personal & delicious! We would recommend this lovely place to everyone!
Classy B&B in the Blackstone River Valley
sur août 08, 2014
When we stopped at the Blackstone Valley Visitors center in Pawtucket, we told the information person we were staying in Woonsocket and they said, "Must be the Pillsbury House: it's the best place to stay." The Pillsbury house is on a rise above the city. It is a beautiful Victorian home with very authentic period furniture. Our Room - the Victorian - had a very nice bed with a convenient private 3/4 bath. I was going back down to Pawtucket to see the Red Sox AAA team, and Roger, our host was extremely helpful and savvy.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious, creative and fresh, including a fancy version of french toast, a fruit salad, and sausage. We enjoyed meeting our fellow guests in the formal yet comfortable dining room.
It was a delightful stay, and a good value.
Splendid house on the fanciest street in town
sur octobre 18, 2013
The mill town of Woonsocket had a small area of exquisite homes where the Captains of Industry lived. Pillsbury House is a 4 bedroom mansion in this beautiful area - a home where one can feel wealthy for a very modest price. A nice place with good food and great surroundings.
