    Hilltop, circa 1910, regorge de détails architecturaux, de charme et de romance. Vitrail et artisan-style casement windows font enchanteur de la lumière dans toutes les chambres de l'auberge. Hilltop a neuf cheminées, qui ont été restaurés avec amour avec les carreaux de céramique artisanat classique ou élégance slate.The de flux de l'auberge est génie : le premier étage vivant, salle à manger, bibliothèque et foyer ouvre librement à l'autre comme subdivisions discrets d'un espace permanent, rendant les invités intuitivement et immédiatement à l'aise. En revanche, les chambres (un au premier étage) et quatre sur le second chaque sentiment privée et glissé éloigner les autres. Plafond coffered du foyer à l'arc doux de l'escalier central élégant au tapis orientaux et salles de bains luxueusement aménagées, Hilltop est une maison qui apporte calme délice à ceux qui habitent les ses communes et ses espaces privés.

    Visiting Newport for the first time, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.....blown off course by Igor the hurricane from Bermuda......we landed in lux at the Hilltop Inn

    WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

    My boyfriend and I spend a couple of days in this B&B and we had an amazing and memorable time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The Inn was clean and very relaxing.I will recommended to any couple who wants to get away and have a romantic time with your partner to stay at the Hilltop Inn in RI.

    Wonderful Stay 9/16-9/18

    First visit to Newport and we wanted a somewhat quite place, yet close to everything. Hilltop fit the bill perfectly. It was mostly booked so we took the larger Bellevue suite (a bit big for just 2), also bought the extra "experience Newport" pkg. Best parts of that were the sightseeing sail, mansion tour tickets, and dinner voucher at a local restaurant. Some of the pkg was not really needed- the limousine tour ride (I have a car) the cheese and crackers in room (too much food already). Maybe next time the pkg offering can be modified or done ala carte? The Inn itself is quite clean and comfortable, reminded me of my grandmother’s house as a child. Period furniture from early to mid 1900's yet with all modern amenities- whirlpool tub and shower which fit two nicely, free wireless internet that connected easily, and flat panel LCD TV's (however a bit small at 22"). Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast each day was very good and you had a couple hot entrees, cooked to order, from which to choose. We thought the afternoon tea at 3pm was outstanding. The selection of fruits, pastries, cakes etc. to go with your coffee or tea was excellent. These items were also left out for 2-3 hrs so you wouldn't miss out if running late. The only very minor suggestion we can make is that lighting above the mirror in the bathroom is inadequate, could be improved/brighter. Primarily for the ladies wanting to apply or remove make-up. Other than that, everything else is wonderful. We highly recommend Hilltop and would stay there again next time in Newport. Cheers!

    Perfect Place

    Hilltop Inn is the perfect place to stay in Newport RI. Just far away from the crazyness of the strip but still only a short 5 minute walk to everything! The Inn and the staff were wonderful. Rooms lovely! Breakfast divine, teas wonderful, evening port and munchies so good. From soup to nuts it was PERFECT!

Depuis le guestroom Kay Room, portes français conduisent sur un balcon privé énorme où la brise de mer après-midi joue dans les arbres.

    Au deuxième étage, salle de Murray est peut-être notre guestroom coziest et dispose d'un lit queen, taille affiche quatre ruche avec un oreiller-top matelas, TV plasma, cheminée de gaz et un lecteur de CD de Bose. Le décor est ensoleillé et peluche : tissus toile bleu et jaune, de vases en porcelaine bleu et blanc, un bureau miel et un miroir argenté antique rendent cet espace gracieux et extrêmement charmant. La grande salle de bain en mosaïque du blanc a un combiné tourbillon Jacuzzi et douche, une deuxième TV plasma et représentent une vanité et handcrafted linge de douche qui correspondent draperie riche de la guestroom.
