The room was very clean and everything was in good working order (fireplace, TV, jacuzzi, deck, shower, etc..) The innkeepers Jim and Jeff, were very helpful and courteous. The kitchen and cleaning staff was comprised exclusively of young European girls, which I found charming. Trying to find parking in Newport is abysmal, but this Inn had a nice big parking lot, which I greatly appreciated. The guest kitchen on the 3rd floor with cups, china plates, silverware, full fridge, stove-top, and microwave was a nice touch, for serving leftovers and making tea. I would most certainly recommend this establishment.

We recently stayed at the Beechtree Inn in the main house. It is truly a relaxing place to be, very clean, lovely rooms, and great value. The breakfasts are delicious, and include everything anyone would want or need. The place is warm and friendly, and a real find in Newport. We have stayed there before, and look forward to returning again. Judy and Dick

We've stayed at a few B&Bs in Newport. Beech Tree Inn was a nice find! Clean, quiet, friendly host, great breakfast. Off the beaten path, but walking distance to fun!

From the moment you walk in you are welcomed warmly. This is a comfortable, clean, well-kept home where you can meet new friends and share stories. Your day begins with a delicious breakfast..made to order. The owners and staff friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet setting close to all you want to do in Newport. If in the area again, I will definitely visit there again.

Jim est un Assistant électrique et jouit d'une fixation des choses autour de la maison - il est retiré de la garde nationale armée. Cindy aime couette, couture et cuire mais ne trouve pas beaucoup de temps pour les projets de ces jours. Leur plaisir favori est lors de la visite de leurs trois enfants adultes et puis il y a trop de parlant & trop manger !

This place was so warm and delightful! We stayed in an off season but close enough to winter that we got to see the Mansion dolled up for christmas time. Jim was such a great guy and very informative. The breakfast was delicious and you had different choices. Our room was so cozy with a fireplace, big tub with jets and a little porch. It was chilly when we went in November but it was so nice to walk around and see the sites and come back to our great room. The bed was a king and very comfortable as well. We couldnt have been happier than when we stayed here and plan on going back one time during the summer months. It was a close walking distance to the shops and historic sites!

We had never stayed at a B&B before so we did not know what to expect. The hospitality was Awesome, the food was Awesome and the room was Awesome. We would definately return, as long as the bridge last another 500 years.

It's nice to know that people remember what Customer Service is all about. Jeff was great and it was a wonderful experience staying with him and his family. We look forward to a stay here again in October.

This was a truly enjoyable place to spend a few days! Our accomodations were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the innkeeper was charming. We had plenty of privacy for our romantic retreat, however we wouldn't hesitate to visit with the entire family. I recommend this Inn to anyone who is looking for a cozy mini-vacation (or an extended stay!) in a welcoming environment.
