    Dans sa centième année, cette romantique victorienne est situé dans le quartier historique de le île de bloc. C'est sur la plage de croissant au sein de la distance de marche de magasins, restaurants et autres activités de le île. Nouvellement rénové, The Blue Faber Inn offre une variété d'hébergement, y compris des suites de luxe avec Jacuzzi, chalets privés et des salles privées. Tous ont des bains privés, ville ou vue sur l'océan, décor antique peluche, immense tapis et tous les conforts modernes. La cuisine en mangent accueille chaque matin avec un petit-déjeuner continental étendu avec muffins fraîchement cuits au four, bagels, fritata, fruits et autres spécialités de la maison. Jus frais, un pot infini de café régulier et parfumé et différents thés sont toujours disponibles. Une heure de vin et de quartets tient chaque après-midi dans le salon. L'arôme de la cuisson de cookie spéciale Dory bleu le remplit la maison au début de chaque soir. Vos hôtes organisent à tout ce qui est de le île des visites à la location de vélo et peuvent rendre les nombreuses recommandations sur les sites à voir et les endroits à visiter. L'Auberge de Faber bleu a reçu la reconnaissance pour des performances exceptionnelles dans les publications suivantes : inclus dans le livre de Paula Begoun, «The Best Places à d'attitude en Nouvelle-Angleterre». Auberge en vedette dans 'The Block Island Magazine et Guide de voyage, 1995-1996'. Récent vainqueur du «Crème de la crème du Boston meilleur guide» prix comme la plus romantique de le île de bloc B & B. En vedette dans la juin, problème de 1996 du tourisme et de loisirs Magazine dans un article intitulé ' 50 Great Beach Resorts'. Interrogés récemment pour les articles apparaissent dans les magazines 'Elle' et 'National Geographic'.

    An Excellent Stay

    A friend and I stayed for a week at The Victorian Inns by the Sea, Avonlea and it was wonderful. The entire house is carefully appointed and our room was very attractive, comfortable and cozy. But it was the Innkeeper, Crystal, who really made the stay excellent. Although we always had our privacy, Crytal always seemed available to give us advise about places to dine along with helpful info about Block Island overall. And, I must say that Crystal prepares the most delicious breakfast and her company at always delightful ! Our well-appointed accommodations, the loveliness of the house, our wonderful breakfasts, PLUS the welcoming ambience and the care that Crystal provided for us really made our stay so fine !     We stayed at the Blue Dory to celebrate a friends birthday. We took the ferry from Rhode Island , it took about 1 hour. It was a very wonderful stay. The inn is situated only two blocks from the harbor where the ferry drops you off. You can walk to pretty much everything in town. We went in early November, the weather was still lovely, but some of the stores and restaurants were closed for the season. The innkeeper was lovely and very interesting to talk to.. She provided a wonderful wine , cheese and hot cookies hour in the early evening. The Blue Dory sits right on the beach so we were able to go out back , bring our our champagne and snacks and set up a lovely sunset toast to my friend for her birthday.The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the basement of the inn in a small cafe type setting. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Dory and Block Island. A very special place to see.
