Ingredients:

  Fresh berries

• 

  Liquor

• 

  arrowroot

Step 1:

Choose liquor such that it is a pleasing flavor match to the berries (strawberries w/ creme de cacao; cranberries with triple sec; raspberries with chambord; etc.).

Step 2:

In a saucepan, mix berries, liquor, and sugar. When it reaches a nice runny consistency, add arrowroot to clarify and set into a sauce.
