  • Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast Video: Garden Gate Get-A-Way B&B is definitely the lodging choice for Nature Lovers! Picture this ...You pull in the driveway to check-in and see horses grazing in the neighboring field. On the way to your guest room you catch a glimpse of a Monarch butterfly floating along the flower-lined path. You stop to take in the country setting by sitting on a porch swing and see a hummingbird bouncing from flower to flower in the gardens. After some rest and relaxation you stroll over to the apple trees and now you get approached by the neighboring horses. You pluck a couple of apples off of the tree and feed them to the horses. That evening, when you return from dinner, you see flames dancing in the fire ring as you drive up the road. You walk up the flower-lined pathway to your guest rooms and are greeted by your innkeepers as they welcome you to come and unwind at the evening campfire. You grab some coffee, hot chocolate or maybe even a glass of wine and come to the fire ring which is situated in the middle of the gardens. As the sun starts to set you notice fire flies dancing around the yard and hear a concert from the birds in the area singing to you. As time passes by you hear the gentle clopping of horse hooves as an Amish buggy passes down the road.

    Garden Gate Get-une-façon B & B est le choix d'hébergement pour les amoureux de la nature ! Cette image.. .vous extraction dans l'allée de check-in et voir les chevaux pâturage dans le champ voisin. Sur la façon de votre chambre vous attraper un entrevoir d'un papillon monarque flottant sur le chemin de fleur-intérieurement. Vous arrêtez à prendre dans le paramètre de pays par assis sur une balançoire portique et voir un Colibri qui rebondit de fleur à fleur dans les jardins. Après quelques repos et la détente vous promener sur pour les pommiers et maintenant vous obtenez approché par les chevaux voisines. Vous avoir un couple de pommes hors de l'arborescence et les aliments pour les chevaux. Ce soir, lorsque vous revenez à dîner, vous voyez que vous conduisez jusqu'à la route de danse dans l'anneau de feu de flammes. Vous marchez jusqu'à la voie bordées fleur à vos chambres et sont accueillis par votre aubergistes comme ils Bienvenue vous à venir se détendre dans le feu de camp de soirée. Vous saisissez certains le café, chocolat chaud ou peut-être même un verre de vin et venez à l'anneau de feu qui est situé au milieu de jardins.     Don't stress about exploring the winding township roads of Amish Country in your own vehicle when you can board our own tour bus! Every Monday and Wednesday, or by appointment, at 1 p.m. guests at our bed and breakfast have the option of taking a 4-hour tour of Holmes County. You will learn how the Amish live and work while making stops at Amish-owned businesses such as basket makers, bakeries, furniture, general stores, a noodle factory, and more. Cost: $55 per person + Room

    Murder Mysteries

    Murder in the Mediterranean - 2 day murder mystery package With suitcase and "passport" in hand you will board our cruise ship headed for the Mediterranean. You might be a chorus girl, bartender, casino dealer, pool attendant, etc., because you will play a crew member. The captain is giving you the first night off, so Friday evening meet "in the lounge" over cocktails while we play some "cruise ship games" for prizes during this time that you get to know the other "crew members". The captain will let you in the "Casino" to play some games as well. Saturday, after breakfast, you will have free time to go ashore and explore Amish Country but will return to the B&B around dinner time to pick up with the murder mystery where you will indulge in a progressive Mediterranean dinner in between each round.

    Love Story: A Musical Journey

    We're bringing in Grammy-nominated, acoustic guitar artist, Bud Preston to perform your Love Story. It starts with your sweetheart at our campfire ring with a picnic dinner. Next, Bud Preston will tell the story, 'Come To Me: Romancing the Erie Canal'. Preston has written a series of original songs and matched them with a story about a young married couple. The couple is deeply in love but he leaves her long enough to get work on the Erie Canal. Love letters are exchanged until he writes to her, "Come To Me", which is the title of one of the songs. Your heart will melt with this enchanting story. The picnic and concert are Saturday evening which gives you plenty of time to explore our area.

    When you enter the Potting Shed guest room it’s as if you are stepping from one garden into another. The picket fence headboard will be the first thing to catch your eye. You can almost smell the cheerful pink tulips in the wallpaper border and the floral décor. When you open your shade in the morning you may be greeted by a big, bright Clematis.     When you arrive and fall in the Lazy Boy recliners after a long day of shopping in Amish country, you can look out your guest room window and find a beautiful sight! Your room is along a garden path where you will see wild birds landing on a fountain to take a drink. In the evening you will get a glimpse of our campfire as you relax. This room has both an outside entrance and another door that leads to our Common Room. Just outside your guest room door is a porch swing where you can gaze at the flower gardens, bird feeders and Amish buggies passing by.

    Formerly our Grape Arbor Room, this room was remodeling November 2011 with a Magnolia theme. It has pale gold walls, hardwood floors, electric fireplace, and updated bathroom with a tub/shower. We'll pamper you with luxury bathrobes and bath amenities. When you gaze out your window you will be captured by the burst of color in the gardens. You might even catch a glimpse of a humming bird, horses in the field, and/or our evening campfire.
