Blueberry Surprise: Bread

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

• 

  9x13 pan

• 

  2 layers of bread

• 

  6 eggs

• 

  2 1/2 cups of milk

• 

  1 teaspoon vanilla

• 

  3 tablespoons sugar

• 

  1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or mace and nutmeg

• 

• 

  Crumb Mixture:

• 

  1/2 cup flour

• 

  6 tablespoons dark brown sugar

• 

  1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

• 

  1/4 cup butter

• 

  1 1/2 cups blueberries

Step 1:

Spray the pan with Pam and line with the 2 layers of bread.

Step 2:

Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon (or mace and nutmeg). Pour over the bread and put in refrigerator overnight.

Step 3:

For crumb mixture, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon,and butter. Set aside for use in morning.

Step 4:

In the morning spread the blueberries over the top of the bread. Put the crumb mixture on top of the blueberries. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
