Arbor Hill Inn

WA Jones, the original owner of Arbor Hill Inn, and Teddy Roosevelt fishing in Canada. Enjoying friends such as Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Edison made Mr. Jones a prestigious character. Mr. Jones was an avid hunter, fisherman, decorated by the Mexican president for his efforts in getting the railways between Mexico and the US, spoke 5 different languages and was a 33rd degree mason. He amassed a firearms collection of nearly 1200 pieces housed in the LaPorte County Historical Museum today.
