The Olde Square Inn, our Lancaster County bed & breakfast, is a beautifully restored architectural gem of the Colonial Revival era. Setting our accommodations apart from other area B&Bs, we offer a hot, three-course breakfast, coffee and treats available 24 hours, an in-ground pool during the summer months, and handicap accessibility in the child-friendly Carriage House. The Inn is also a beautiful venue for hosting retreats, small weddings, and special celebrations. A pleasant departure from hotels, Olde Square Inn is conveniently located on the historic square of this quaint, but expanding, town. We are just minutes from Highway 283/30 that leads to Hershey, Lancaster, Spooky Nook Sports, York, and Gettysburg. Amtrak, slotted for a $27.5 million update, is located only two blocks away. Our lovely suites and rooms include private baths, mini refrigerators, TV, wireless internet, queen or king beds, air conditioning, and fireplaces or stoves. If you are planning a special occasion, anniversary, or birthday, be sure to check out the Carriage House as the ultimate in privacy and luxury for your Lancaster County getaway.

My husband and I stayed two nights at The Olde Square Inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Carriage House, which was a small cottage separate from the rest of the house. We loved it for many reasons, particularly for it's proximity to the pool and for it's romantic details (large jacuzzi next to a glass fireplace, large bathroom, and an area to relax and watch movies). The innkeeper, Nancy, from the moment we arrived was so hospitable. You immediately feel at home - she keeps the inn very neat and thoughtfully decorated. She went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary. Her breakfasts are amazing and we wish we were able to experience more than two of her meals. Her breakfasts are thoughtfully planned out and presented into three courses. They were delicious. She also made some great eating recommendations for places in the area - we went to all of them! My husband and I spent a lot of time at the pool - Nancy kept it very clean! We had such a wonderful time and have already decided to make it an annual tradition to stay at the Olde Square Inn.

I stayed from 5/3 for 3 nights. The innkeeper Nancy is one of the friendliest people I have met and made me feel welcome as soon as I got there and it was like I knew her for years. The breakfast was outstanding and I had the best sausage gravy anf biscuits I ever had. The fruit was fresh and coffee delicious. Rooms were clean and well kept and very relaxing after visiting the town and outskirts all day. She will give you good advice where to go and I would suggest the wineries and the local restaurants in the area. I will definitely come back!

My husband and I like to bike the Rails to Trails and we also wanted to try the Catacombs restaurant (highly recommend) at Bube's Brewery and we found that there were trails in Mount Joy, PA. We wanted accommodations that were close to everything we wanted to do and that is how I found the Olde Square Inn. Upon check-in, Nancy the new owner of about 6 months greeted us and promptly showed us around and led us to the carriage house where we booked our stay. The carriage house was right off of the main house and direct access to the outdoor pool. Our accommodations were quite spacious with a living area with sofa, flat screen TV, fridge, sink, coffee maker, large jacuzzi tub, and a shower that could fit 10 people in it. It also had a gas fireplace right next to the jacuzzi tub. This property was only about 5 miles from the 1st trail that we wanted to bike and walking distance to the Catacombs restaurant. Overall, great location, extremely friendly owner, clean and spacious accommodations, and a huge breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this accommodation and we will be staying there again to hit some of the other bike trails in the area.

Nancy is an absolute wonderful hostess. The B&B is close to many activities and restaurants. Online check-in is easy. I booked 3 rooms for a family visit. All were clean, comfortable and unique. Breakfast was displayed in advanced and Nancy is very professional and friendly as is the rest of the staff. The house is beautifully decorated and well kept. Nancy is the process of making some updates which will only enhance the house.

This was our second time at the beautiful Olde Square Inn, and we were not disappointed! Nancy is an awesome hostess and the Inn is a wonderful get away spot! Each three course breakfast was great! If you are looking for a central location to start a visit in Lancaster or York counties this is a great option. We will be back! Brenda & Judy

Our stay was simply amazing! My husband and myself just needed a night away, and some quality time together.( it was also my husbands birthday) Since we tend to my grandfather who has dementia and we were in a serious accident and lost our vehicle. We just needed a night to just focus on us. And Nancy was just amazing!!!! So kind! And she showed us the entire bread and breakfast and it was all just beautiful. We look forward to being able to stay here again

We had a wonderful time at the Olde Square Inn!!! The owner "Nancy" was so hospitable from the time we we entered the door till the time we left. We were hungry and just wanted to get a little something when we arrived at the Inn late on a Friday night and Nancy recommended that we go to Mosby's Pub a few doors down the block. We were welcomed by the bartender Erin, the manager Matt and the owner George. They had great food and it was a good way to start our get-a-way for our anniversary! Nancy made breakfast exciting and the food was amazing! Our room "Summer field" was bright and the bed was very comfortable. The Olde Square Inn is a great place to relax, have a party, wedding, or what ever you would like to celebrate! We will definitely go back again!!! A+

The inn itself is a quaint building from the turn of the century, with cute rooms and a pleasant common room. The innkeeper, Nancy, was extremely hospitable and personable, and helped us plan our weekend in Mount Joy. The breakfasts were delicious and is what I'd expect from a fancy restaurant. The only negative comment I have is that our room (Summerfield) was right next to the dining room, so it was a bit awkward opening our door in the morning and seeing all of the other guests eating right in front of us (which luckily another reviewer warned me about ahead of time). I would highly recommend staying at the inn!
The Antebellum Room is aptly decorated with a stunning queen sized, plantation-style bed and elegant magnolia wallpaper. You’ll be drawn in by the beautiful carvings that enhance the massive posters on this magnificent bed and will find it difficult not to stretch out for a luxurious afternoon nap.
A wrought-iron open canopy bed graced with beautiful sheer fabric is the feature of this lovely second floor room. With its location at the back of the Inn, you can enjoy the view of the patio and gardens while relaxing at the table and chairs by the large window.
Soothing teals, whites, and soft browns grace this room for a lovely and relaxing stay. The beautiful antique white iron bed offers the welcome of a refreshing night’s sleep. You’ll be ready to take on your day, but might want to lounge a little in your comfortable, queen-sized bed.
Formerly Nevada Sky, themes of an English foxhunt adorn this newly-decorated corner room of our beautiful Inn. The buttery yellow walls play up tthe rich hues of the furniture and bedding, as a marble topped dresser fully complements the queen-sized cherry sleigh bed. This lovely bed is decorated with elegant Ralph Lauren linens.
Our suite is located on the third floor of our beautiful inn and with windows on all sides of the home, offering a 360 view of the area. The suite will accommodate up to four guests with a king bed and sleeping for two extra guests. The ensuite bath boasts a spa tub and private chamber. It is complete with a coffee maker, TV and DVD player, and WiFi.
A true guest favorite and located right off our dining room, the Summerfield is a beautiful, large sun-filled guest room with unique leaded glass windows. The breath-taking queen Victorian Mansion bed takes center-stage and is the first thing you see when you walk through the double doors.
