It's a perfect place to stay while visiting Gettysburg. The pictures on the website don't do it justice; it's a lot cozier in person. Breakfast was delicious. Just a short drive to the Battlefield and Visitor Center where you can even hop on a shuttle that will take you into town and not have to worry about parking. When you've had your fill of history, there's an outline mall about a mile away too with a movie theater.

We had a great two day stay. An added bonus was an evening fireside presentation by a local historian on the effect of the battle on the Gettysburg residents.

What a wonderful place to stay at Gettysburg - so nice that is is tucked just away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown. Beautiful, peaceful historic property. Kenny & Judy simply couldn't be any nicer! Perfectly clean as well. We very much enjoyed our time there and surely hope to stay again! - Len & Brunie

Upon arrival from a long day of driving and sightseeing, we were welcomed by our hosts and shown the property and given information regarding our stay for two nights (meal hours, restaurant recommendations, etc.) Shown to our room which was spotless, we were thrilled to see that we had an open deck to a wonderful open view to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind from our day's activities. On our second night guests were entertained around the campfire by Mistress Myra a local lady that tells the story of the Battle of Gettysburg from a townswoman's point of view. Very enlightening and a wonderful way to spend an evening with fellow travellers. Food at Baladerry Inn was well presented, hot and filling.

We stayed at the Baladerry Inn September 12th for 3 days and what a wonderful experience. My sister and her daughter had stayed there in May and loved it so much that I had to go and see for myself!! The innkeepers are very very nice and accommodating. You can tell that they love their Inn and share it well. Their breakfast exceeds all expectations as it was fresh, delicious, homemade, and comforting. The bonus for me was their respect for my no meat diet. Judy made me own special version of what the other guests were having so I never felt left out. We stayed in the Cottage Rose suite which was delightfully decorated, clean and cozy. The grounds are impeccably manicured. The Inn is close to the Gettysburg battlefield but "far from the madding crowd" peacefully secluded in the woods. There is talk of the Inn being haunted but I never felt so at peace and relaxed. If it is haunted the spirits there must also feel at peace and protected by the innkeepers who take such loving care of their establishment. I know that someday I will return someday and I can't wait. Maureen, Windsor Ct

My fiancé and I stayed in the Marigold room and it was adorable! A lot more spacious than I expected. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was more modern and upgraded than I expected. Everything was SPOTLESS. Our only disappointment was that we didn't encounter any spirits :) The book of local restaurants they have in the main area is a wealth of info and we found & went to a delish dinner at 1863, which was a short drive down 15. Enjoyed the hot tub and board games after dinner, which was great. Breakfast the next morning was very, very good. All in all, a wonderful weekend! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The Baladerry is a really nice place. Judy and Peggy worked well together and made the stay GREAT!!! The location is close to the visitor center and the setting is perfect (we saw three deer near our room every morning). The breakfasts are OUTSTANDING!!!! Highly recommended.

We usually stay at B&B's on our vacations and the Baladerry Inn really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless (Thanks Peggy), the breakfasts were delicious, and Judy and Peggy both made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will stay there again and recommend staying there to everyone.

The Room was very clean, the host's were extreamly friendly and the night time guest speaker was outstanding. A little pricy for more than a night but all in all it was wonderful.
