Labor day - great visit!

Great B&B! Historians were excellent! Awesome quite location right off the south end of the park.

Tack room stay.

4,8 sur septembre 16, 2014

Everything about our stay was outstanding, from the staff to the history talks, to the room and the breakfasts. So good in fact that we extended our stay by a day!! Steve and Chris.

Great time

4,4 sur septembre 12, 2014

I was traveling with my dog and this was the best place I have stayed with a pet.

WONDERFUL!!!

4,8 sur septembre 11, 2014

The service is second to none! This was a wonderful room and vacation! My girlfriend and I loved staying in the Tack Guest Room! We were treated like family by the staff and they graciously worked with us on any requests we had. We will DEFINITELY be staying again in the future!

Outstanding!

5 sur septembre 04, 2014

Couldn't have been happier with our stay! We stayed in the Tack Room out in the barn and were overjoyed with the room and setting. We chose this bed and breakfast as it was the only one in the Gettysburg area that accepted young children. What a wonderful experience! The grounds were lovely, the room was set up for our sleeping arrangements with the sleeper sofa and even a pack and play that was provided and set up when we arrived. We had a private patio next to the horse stables with a separate entrance. The history program that morning was excellent and the children got to fire a real musket! Breakfast was phenomenal and cookies and lemonade were available in the evening. Coffee and tea was available anytime. The staff was great and we are already planning our next visit! Thanks for a great getaway that was private yet close to everything!

I am glad that you and your children enjoyed the morning history program as well as the snacks and breakfasts we offer. For future reference the particular history program that you participated in is offered on Mondays and Fridays, with Mike Chambers. I look forward to seeing you again on your return visit to Gettysburg.

Fantastic

4,0 sur septembre 01, 2014

We stayed only one night unfortunately but Cristi was a wonderful host & we felt right at home. I had the best sleep there of our whole trip, wow that bed is comfy in the Texas Infantry room! I love the morning story telling and the cozy breakfast. We had done the ghost tour with Betty as well that conveniently ended at the B&B. I will definitely stay there again when we visit Gettysburg in the future. My husband & two teenage daughters loved it as well.

Battlefield Review

4,2 sur août 28, 2014

1803 Farmhouse that has been made into a B&B. Many aspects are original. Some walls are paper thin, so be forewarned. You can bring your dog, but they have 9+ cats, which could be interesting. Breakfast is served with no choices. Historical lecture before/during breakfast was very interesting. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall a very worthwhile experience.

Thank you for your review! We do offer variations on our breakfast, however you have to specify that you have a preference for specific breakfast foods at check in. Otherwise breakfast is a standard set plate for every guest. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the morning history program. I hope you come back to visit us again on a future trip to Gettysburg!

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN GETTYSBURG

5 sur août 27, 2014

A friend and I did a last minute trip to Gettysburg for the farmer's markets and such. We usually come with a larger group and either camp or do a motel, and have doing so for the last 6 years or so. Since it was the two of us I found the last room at this B&B and booked it. I was NOT disappointed. The grounds, the atmosphere inside the home, everything was so quaint and cozy. There are period costumes in the parlor that were fun dressing in and taking pictures. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

5 sur août 27, 2014

This was a really charming B&B. We loved the historical aspect of the B&B. The talks that the local historians gave in the morning were really informative about this time period. It really added to our stay. Also the sit down breakfasts each day were delicious. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and the warm cookies in the afternoon were really a nice gesture. This B&B was close to town and right next door to the battlefields. I would highly recommend it and will stay here again on our return visit.
