The inn is beautiful and historic. The grounds are well maintained and our room was spotless and the exposed stone added a special ambiance. The service was friendly. Breakfast was delicious and a good portion. The inn is close to the battlefield and Gettysburg, but not in the center of town, but I would definitely recommend it for a quiet beautiful stay, and its excellent paths along the property.

This is the second time I've stayed here and it was great both times. I did miss seeing Jacob the donkey and heard the same speaker as I heard last year, but all in all it is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in tack room both times may have to try a room in the house next time.

I decided to book Battlefield B&B, since my husband is such a Civil War buff. He was not disappointed. The room was part of the original house and the breakfast talk by a Civil War expert was very captivating.

We were the only people there for the first and third nights of our stay. We received excellent service and the food was outstanding. Just a small note that some of the outlets in the room we stayed at the second and third nights need to be replaced. They do not hold a plug, as I plugged my phone in the recharge overnight and the plug fell out and it did not charge. I then noted that several of the outlets are loose. The window coverings might need to be updated. Overall our stay was excellent as always. Thanks for your hospitality.

Visited with my best friend on a quick trip up to Gettysburg and back the next day (from DC). Really enjoyed our time there! The staff was sooo friendly, the rooms were great, the grounds--beautiful, and the history talk the next morning was amazing! Definitely coming back (hopefully in warmer weather) to enjoy this beautiful location again.
