My husband and I enjoy staying at the Bluebird Guesthouse when we visit Portland. Its quiet (no television) and comfortable, centrally located, close to New Seasons Market, shopping, restaurants, and microbreweries. Really cute bed & breakfast. They offer a complementary breakfast that also caters to vegans and gluten free folks. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and quiet. And it is located in a great area of Portland. I love this place and have stayed more than once. Highly recommend it!

This room will be very tight for two people, best to stay here if you're flying solo. That's not a complaint at all, just the way it is. I would definitely stay here again. I found the bathroom always clean, ditto the kitchen. It was hot when I was there, and I asked the caretaker for a little fan for my room and she checked, and got one for me! Oh, and I don't know if it was just happy coincidence of the guests who were staying there at the same time, but the noise level was low, which was very much appreciated.

I stayed at Bluebird Guesthouse for some meetings in Portland. It was a very convenient location, and its a very nice place that makes you feel right at home. Nice kitchen and rooms to read, relax or do some work on your laptop. Nice little frontyard and outside seating, and a backyard lawn. Highly recommend it and will come back when I'm in Portland again.

i highly recommed others to stay at the bluebird guesthouse. this was my first experience staying in a guest house and it was great! very homey and the other folks were friendly. the room and bathroom were clean and fully stocked. it was nice not having to pay for breakfast each morning too. i will definitely stay here again when i visit portland!

The Bluebird fits the bill for an 'in and out' overnight in a B&B. Room very comfortable; self help entry, breakfast, etc. an interesting way to run a place for low overhead. Pricey for what it is, I thought. But so many things sold out that particular weekend. Very "Portland" kind of place. Clean, comfortable, funky.
