We stated at Lithia Springs in June while we were in Ashland to see plays at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The property was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The food each morning and tea in the afternoons was delicious. It was a wonderful experience and we plan to return next summer.

Here are the good things: Grounds - just wonderful. The gardens are so well designed and beautiful, so many hidden nooks and crannies. The breakfast is beyond the ordinary. Everything homemade and fresh. The front desk people are friendly. Everything is clean. Beds are comfy, and the decor is MOSTLY pretty cool. A little bit of doily, which seems unnecessary and the leather couches and Louis the whatever knockoff chairs are odd. OK though. Here's what's not so cool: Not sure why this is referred to as a spa. Other than the in-room Jacuzzis with the natural spring water, there is nothing else spa-like about this place. For some odd reason there is no pool, though that is supposedly happening with the new addition. The car lot. Hey, some screening would go a long way to make you feel you weren't in the used car section of the Chevrolet dealer. And we didn't love ordering a bed for a guest (and paying for it) to find they didn't honor our request. The people who work here/manage the place are VERY nice yet...kind of ineffective. We called the "emergency" number, to be referred to an "emergency" number which went to voicemail. There is literally no security here at night and no phone other than your cell. Not ideal. They were nice about refunding the money and swore "nothing like this has ever happened before" but I do wonder. All that said, it was a pretty nice place. Hope they tighten things up.

This little gem was a complete surprise. After hearing a friend rave about Lithia Springs Resort and Gardens, I decided to spend one night on my way back home and I am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and efficient, the rooms are clean and beautifully furnished, and the mineral soaking tubs in the rooms are like having your own private spa. The rates are reasonable and the breakfast is delicious.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this inn. The rooms are beautiful, service excellent and everyone was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and stay there again if I ever return to Ashland.

It was wonderful. Quaint, beautiful rooms. Loved our stay. Only low point was the Irish tea. Very sparse with just grapes, a cookie, scones, and tea. A full tea has much more. Grounds were beautiful with quaking aspens behind our room and gorgeous fall colors.

We drove 7hrs to get to Lithia Springs Resort & it was well worth the drive!!! Everything from check in to check out was wonderful! We reserved an English Cottage and the hot tub inside the room was wonderful!!! We weren't used to the mineral water that was run on the property but became minor when compared to the rest of the amenities.

I just got back from an excellent trip to Ashland and stayed at the Lithia Inn. The service was wonderful, the staff went way out of their way. The room was beautiful and had lots of extras that made our stay very comfortable. I was expecting the same calaber for breakfast but that was the one area that I found wanting. It was okay, but not great. All in all I would definitely stay there again but will probably not bother with breakfast especially with all the great resturants in town.

We were pampered in a B&B experience that was outstanding in every way. The rooms and surroundings were great and the staff was very attentive and solicitous in every way. The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea and cookies, along with the evening wine made the visit to Lithia Springs Inn a most pleasant experience we hope to repeat very soon. The Inn is beautiful and the staff are all great! The afternoon tea was not what it should be and the breakfast should be skipped.

We loved the beautiful gardens, the friendly people, and the delicious food served for breakfast. All the staff seemed genuinely interested in our enjoying our visit in every way. The room was comfortable and the inn is very convenient for attending plays and dining out. We'll return for another visit!

Service was great. Used a groupon and was allowed to use it later than stated dates available and when we arrived were upgraded to one of their largest rooms due to our reserved room not being ready. Breakfast was delicious, especially the scones which were peach one day and coconut the second morning. It didn't bother me but the water is mineral water so it does have a sulfur odor.

This was a last minute get-away and really wished we had more time to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the grounds and look forward to returning soon!

The rooms are quite nice and very quiet. The breakfast was far from "gourmet", though. The breakfast staff was talking very loudly in the kitchen and I had to close the door. It was served buffet style but was poorly attended and we had to consistently ask for more juice, eggs, etc. Our room had a broken heater/air conditioner. Fortunately the weather was decent enough that we didn't need it on because when told about it, they didn't send anybody to check on it while we were there for another day.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Lithia Springs, primarily because the staff was so friendly and accomodating, and because of all the little bonuses: tea time, complimentary wine, chess table, free wifi, detailed info on the area. The highlight of our room (Irish Cottage) was the soaking tub for two; the mineral water really was soothing. Only complaints were that the in-room decor & lobby decor was a little dated and I might have expected nicer linens if I had paid full price (we had a Groupon). We had massages in an English Cottage (newer) and it was gorgeous, and the massages were wonderful. A highlight was breakfast: healthy, hearty, fresh and abundant food. I would go there to just to eat if I was a local. Would be a nice spot for a group or wedding in the spring & summer

My best friend from high school and I met in Ashland for a girls' get-a-away in August, and we stayed at the Lithia Springs Resort. It was wonderful! The grounds were beautiful, the lobby was warm and inviting, our room (the Parisian Suite, above the lobby in the main house) was very big and perfect for the two of us to share, and the breakfasts were very nice! The owner, Duane, was so friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, wine tasting, etc. (check his newsletter for specials if you plan to go). Afternoon treats and wine tasting were a nice touch, as were the fresh garden flowers in our room when we arrived. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we would love to return! Thank you Duane and Lithia Springs! Julie F.

We thoroughly enjoyed a recent three-night stay at the Lithia Springs Resort. There was a glitch with our reservation due to having been made online so we recommend that reservations be made directly with the resort.

My wife and I needed to be in Ashland overnight, and stayed at Lithia Springs Inn Resort and Gardens. We booked the same week, and were able to stay in a wonderful suite with jetted tub. It was light and airy, clean and well kept. Within minutes of being in the room, my wife said, "we should stay here every time we come to Ashland!" In fact, we are now looking at booking a trip to Ashland this summer, primarily to stay at Lithia Springs! The mineral water in the tubs was wonderful after a long drive. The service was consistently outstanding, with multiple examples of staff going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We travel a lot, and this was our best experience in a long time!

The staff is WONDERFUL! Very kind & genuine. They look to you as if you were family. Beautiful gardens. I think my favorite staff member is Chester :) He is just sooo sweet! The scones are to DIE for. Not dry at all. Fresh ingredients are used in all meals provided. Afternoon tea was o.k. Cookies were dry. We didn't get a chance to do any wine tasting as were busy hiking up to Table Rock. That is an AWESOME hike. Be prepaired to pack A LOT of water though. Bring a camera because you'll want to remember every bit of the panoramic views that the top offers. We WILL be back. Thank you for the hospitality. This has been one of the best experiences we have had at ANY B&B. See you soon! Best wishes~ Stan & Amber

We have been guests before at Lithia Springs Resort and will return again and again. We love it!!! Our small dog was also traveling with us and they made him feel welcome as well. We find the mineral waters to be deeply healing and restorative...a visit here for 2 nights make us feel like we were there for a week. It is our favorite destination and they always provide a great value for our dollar. We can't say enough about how incredible it is to spend time there. We have never taken the time to write a review of anywhere else, but this place and the staff deserve it.

My wife and I made reservations on line for a two day visit to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. We found the service to be very friendly, and had an excellent breakfast for a nominal charge. Our room was clean and quiet. The Lithia water is refreshing and softens the skin. Outside the garden area is a relaxing walk, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will be back.

This was our second stay at the resort. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is obvious that they do their best to make their guests' stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We stayed in Traci, a room in the main building. The room was small but very nicely appointed and adequate for a couple. The information we received when we booked the room on BedandBreakfast.com said the room would be a garden room with 800 sq. feet and a fireplace. That information was not accurate but we were still satisfied with the room we received. We arrived on a very cold, rainy afternoon. When we entered our room, it was toasty warm and soothing music was coming from the CD player. It was a wonderful welcome! There is an extra charge for breakfast. Cheryl, the baker/cook, does an excellent job with breakfast. It's a delicious breakfast but the portions are small. We had the complimentary afternoon tea and the scones were scrumptious! Overall, we had a very relaxing night at the resort and would definitely stay there again.

The cottages were spacious, the 4 acress of gardens were a delightful place to relax away the afternoon. But, it was really the hot mineral water that filled our whirlpool that did it. I recommend it highly

This was our first time to visit Ashland and we were very pleased with the accomodations at Lithia Springs Resport and Gardens. The mineral baths were very soothing. We stayed in one of the cottages and found them very roomy and inviting. We stayed 3 nights and found the breakfast each morning a delight. Our compliments to the cook. We will definitely be back. The staff were so accomodating. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and treats put out in the late afternoon, it was a real treat. The quietness and beautiful large gardens were well worth the distance from town (Ashland is only a few minutes away). I highly recommend this getaway!
