    L'oiseau et Hat Inn est un bungalow avec toiture de gambrel, situé au coeur du centre-ville de Stayton. Construit en 1907, il a trois chambres, toutes avec bains privés. Il est loin de Silver Falls State Park, vignobles de la vallée de Mid-Willamette, à quelques minutes Salem et l'aire de loisirs du lac Detroit. Détendez-vous sur la véranda ou dans le jardin en contrebas. Venez, restez avec nous !

    great find in a small town

    we picked this B and B because of the location for travel. It was great! the Innkeeper, Kelly, was so nice and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The house is immaculate, food great, and we were sorry we were there so shortly.

    The Bird and Hat Inn provides an unsurpassed example of what a B&B should be. A real find. We loved the clean, uncluttered, elegance that met our eyes in every room. This is a calm, peaceful place to stay for rest and relaxation. Enjoy a nice walk around the garden or study the beautifully appointed antiques throughout the house. The breakfast was both nutritious and delicious. Jacqueline is a warm, gracious host who met us at the door with a nice welcoming hug. We'll be back for sure.

    Unexpected Bargain

    Just like grandma's only....better! Comfortable beds, nutricious delicious breakfasts, all in a clean, quiet, calming surrounding. Kelly and Jackie truly treat you as family, so unpretencious and friendly, an unexpected delight! Will return to bike in the fall, as there is so much more to see and do in this beautiful area. We expected rain, discovered sun and stunning views, hiking Silver Falls, shopping and dining in Salem and Silverton, viewing the many Iris and Peony flower gardens, and seeing the unbelievable St. Mary's in Mt. Angel.

    A king size bed in our largest room awaits you! This east facing room gets plenty of morning sunshine. It has a private balcony overlooking the front of the house. The bath is private with a deep cast iron bathtub, shower, and pedestal sink. There is a twin trundle bed which makes it ideal for families and guest traveling together that do not share beds.

    Our coziest room with a massive antique queen bed and kitchenette. It has a large en-suite bath with a shower. The room is ideal for business travelers as it has a large desk . All windows in this room face south.

    Exceeded My Expectations

    We loved the beautiful home, lovely grounds and the warm atmosphere created. Kelly is a wonderful hostess who is a great conversationalist and was very knowledgeable about the area but was never intrusive. We stayed in the Front Room which has a private bath (only for use of front room guest) that was in the hall which caused us to hesitate before booking but I'm glad we went ahead and booked because the bath felt plenty private and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great because our servings were cooked upon our arrival so it was all fresh rather than kept warm until we got there. Everything about our stay was enjoyable!

    Wonderful Stay!

    We came to Stayton to visit Silver Falls State Park. We were warmly welcomed by Kelly who gave us a tour of her lovely 1907 home and described how it came to be a bed & breakfast. Ask her about the sunken garden and its discovery! Kelly is very knowledgeable about the falls and other points of interest in the area and was a great help in planning our day out. We had a spacious room with a large, comfortable bed and an outside patio. We awoke from a great night's sleep to come downstairs to a delicious, light, and healthy breakfast. We're only sorry that we weren't able to stay more than one night, but we will definitely be back. - Rosemary & Peter P.S. If you happen to stay on a Sunday night, you must visit the Wooden Nickel in nearby Sublimity for good food and live bluegrass music.

    Great getaway place!

    Fantastic bed and breakfast nestled in the small town of Stayton. The innkeeper Kelly was friendly, helpful and made great recommendations for some things to do and places to go nearby that ended up making our weekend even better. For a B&B, the price is amazingly reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the "Back Room" and it was nice and large with a private balcony. Decor is refreshingly simple, clean and pleasing to the eye (I dislike the rooms you find at so many B&Bs where you're assaulted by nicky-nacky junk on every surface and numerous warring floral patterns on the walls, furniture, and bedding). Overall, we loved this place and will definitely be going back!
