Just what we needed a nice clean quiet place to stay while visiting family in Stittsville. Hosts are very friendly and the breakfast area thoughtfully supplied and laid out. Rooms are roomy clean and comfortable, with all the features expected of a good modern accommodation, but with a feel of home.

The B&B is located in a now over-developed section of town, but has managed to retain a somewhat seclusive atmosphere. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, are quite large and comfortable, and furnished with a nice touch of antiques and modern. Only thing missing from making this a Grade A+ was a hot breakfast.

We have stayed at Tall Pines several times over the years as we visit our children and grandchildren. The comfortable, informal atmosphere suits us admirably. We prepare our own scrambled eggs and coffee in the guest kitchen and have no sense of imposition on our hosts who are always available for advice and suggestions. We are only able to visit in the winter and are warmed by the welcoming aspect and attitude.

My stay at the Tall Pines was a very welcome break to the usual impersonal treatment received at typical corporate properties. The Grace and Ray Bell were very cordial and attentive hosts. The Tall Pines deserves 5 stars.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B and were very happy with the accomodations and the welcome. Our hosts, the Grace and Ray Bell, led us to a very comfortable room and made our stay there, and in Ottawa, a very enjoyable one. We will definitely return there on subsequent trips to Ottawa.
