    Best B&B in Toronto!

    This was a wonderful place to stay, very convenient to the streetcar yet in a delightful quiet area of the city. The service was impeccable, the innkeeper friendly and very helpful with suggestions for visiting the city. He is also an excellent cook - the free breakfasts were truly a highlight and a great way to begin each day! Highly recommend this lovely historic home as a place to stay.

    The room was cozy and clean as a whistle. The breakfasts were to die for! I was offered choices on food - and chose the french toast that was superb! The home made granola topped a wonderful bowl of fresh fruit and yogurt. Fabulous. It was a pleasure to meet Tan!

    THE place is the Townhouse in Toronto

    My husband and I stayed at the most wonderful B&B when we visited Toronto. The 213 Carton Townhouse was our oasis. It snowed and rained the weekend we stayed but our stay at the Townhouse was warm. Tan was so helpful. Being on a budget he told us the best (least extensive) restaurants, helped us navigate through public transportation, he even knew about discount family passes for weekend travel. Frank told my husband the best place to buy cigars. The location is great, we were able to walk to many attractions and public transportation (trolley) is on Carlton Street. Our bed was comfortable, the room and bath were clean. Each day started with fabulous breakfast made to order and we lucked out being able to enjoy it with interesting guests. We had a great time and recommend it to everyone but especially for people who are visiting Toronto for the first time. COUPLES ALERT: The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms, each with their own bath, a kitchen in the front bedroom and decks. It is perfect for 2 couples, completely private. Mary Kay

    Our largest suite measures approx 320 sq/ft. and has a King bed, 32 inch LCD TV, and a 4 pc washroom. The ensuite kitchenette has a sink, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. (Stove/Oven is disconnected). Sitting room w/ table ensemble is also set up in the suite. Suite Oasis guests enjoy exclusive use of large (225 sq/ft) deck overlooking Toronto skyline.     Great clean B&B close to downtown

    Valuable alternative to large hotels, very good location in historical Cabbagetown, downtown Toronto. The house is very well maintained and super clean. You can get there easily by public transport even from the airport, free long distance calls are allowed in North America. Start your day with perferct breakfast prepared by Tan, the owner.

    Tan runs a wonderful B&B. He was so friendly and accommodating, even when we had no idea how long we were staying. We lived on his amazing breakfasts and he went above and beyond to make our stay in Toronto as good as it can possibly be. The place is so homey and clean and so affordable.     THE only place to stay when in Toronto

    Whenever I'm in Toronto I stay here. It's a great place with a fantastic, engaging host (Tan), who is also a very accomplished Chef. The house is close to everything, and it's easy to get to and from wherever you need to be. The house is clean, well kept, and as a bonus, offers free Wi-Fi and free long distance callling. For me, this is the only place to stay in Toronto!

    For many years Tan was an Executive Chef at a number of high end establishments, so his breakfasts are always Tanfastic! He starts with...... Fresh cut fruits w/ yogurt. Tan's Gorgeously, Gratifying homemade Granola (A huge guest favorite!) A selection of baked goods. A selection of cereals. Coffee, Tea, & Juice. One hot item (i.e. delicious homemade pancakes, french toast, poached eggs, omlette etc...) Add generous amount of helpful information, pleasant conversation and mix well with other guests. A sure fire recipe for a great start to your day!
