"Our stay at the Bee and Thistle Guest House could not have been any better, even from the very beginning. We arrived early morning unexpectedly, rather than late afternoon, hoping to drop our luggage and leave for the day. Instead, we were warmly welcomed and shown directly to our comfy, up-to-date room with more amenities than in many b+bs (even umbrellas for the next day's rain). The bathroom had beautiful finishes and every convenience -lush towels, fragrant toiletries, plenty of shelves. A packet of information welcomed us with a personal note, a description of services, breakfast times, and a menu for the next morning (so we could dream all night in anticipation!). And the breakfasts! Beautiful artwork in their presentation, fabulous flavors of sweets and savories, generous portions - enough to save for a treat later in the day. Although we certainly didn't need it because there was always a plate of cookies waiting in our room at the end of the day along with the morning's menu. With our being unfamiliar with the area, Brittany, Lynn, and Michael searched out details and advised us, had bus tickets available for us, called a reliable taxi for us, all in the most friendly, homey, cheerful way. In summary, we could not have made a better choice for a wonderful visit to Vancouver!"
