After visiting the Hocking Hills area for over 30 years we found the perfect place to stay. Everything was perfect. Staff was personality plus; food was just perfect and served with a smile; peace and quiet were just what we needed; porch swing and solitude of the woods was great; overstuffed rockers and king bed with oh-so-soft bedding were very inviting; wooden screen door and spring was a reminder of home when growing up; activities in area are so awesome. The overall stay at the Inn at Cedar Falls was A+.
Our second visit to the Inn and look forward to our next time. Went to see the frozen waterfalls at the park and the temp was 60 degrees. The staff members are friendly, extremely helpful and professional. Our room was picture perfect and our dinner and breakfast was first-rate.

We spend three glorious days at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls as part of a delayed honeymoon, and our stay could not have been more perfect! Between all the personal touches, amazing meals, welcoming staff, and at-home comfortable surroundings, we've already decided (and have booked!) our next stay, making our visit to this retreat an annual event! We loved it all and say kudos to Ellen and Terry for making this place such a treasure!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your wonderful comments! We very much look forward to having you back!
My husband and I were looking for a place to go for our 30th wedding anniversary. We saw the article in the AAA magazine. I looked them up on-line and was impressed with the place and services. I called to check if they offered a couples package because we wanted to also get massages. We had a great time; the service and food was just super. It was so quiet and peaceful there. We loved the massages and our favorite was the commons room with the fireplace and eating in the old log cabin buildings. I recommend The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls for a wonderful get-away in a calm and peaceful surroundings. I'm sure it is even more beautiful in the summers with the gardens and fall time with the beautiful leaves and trees.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you so much for your comments! Providing our guests with peace and relaxation is our main focus and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We hope you will visit us again!
We held a business event and gathering at the Inn at Cedar Falls, it turned out to be an inspired choice. In addition to accomplishing all of our business objectives the atmosphere charmed the entire group and helped foster relationships whose benefit is immeasurable.
When every single plate, of every course, of every meal for a group of 20 finishes clean, there must be something special about the food - there is!
Would we do it again?, in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful anniversary we had at the Inn. The staff is so pleasant and kind and helpful. There are so many places to sit and lounge and relax ... drink a cup of coffee or enjoy a glass of wine. So charming! The scenery is so beautiful. Can't wait to go back!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We are so honored that you chose to spend your anniversary with us and pleased that you enjoyed your stay! We can't wait to have you back!
The location is amazing, with the cabins well appointed for maximum privacy & we felt as though we had the 75 acres to ourselves. Also, the service was above and beyond and the restaurant is remarkable.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thanks for your comments! We hope you will visit us again!
My husband and I spent 2 nights for our 14th wedding anniversary in Honeysuckle Cottage but it felt like 5 nights. It's amazing how peaceful and pampered your feel at the Inn. The staff had some great suggestions of where to hike and go canoeing and we had a ball. Dinner at the Inn was definitely 5-star dining and made our anniversary that much more special. We took advantage of the box lunch option when we went hiking and canoeing and that was very good as well. From the staff to the location to the dining to the amenities this Inn should be your #1 lodging choice in Hocking Hills.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you so much for your great comments! We are honored that you chose to spend such a special day with us and we hope you will visit us again soon!
Our organization held its annual 2-day retreat at the Inn recently. Every aspect was so well done. The friendly and accommodating staff executed our plans perfectly, the accommodations were clean and beautiful, the food was excellent. Our experience was comfortable and relaxing, yet conducive to conducting our business and the retreat was very successful. I highly recommend the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls for both pleasure and business.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you so much for your comments! We have worked very hard to make the Inn a premier meeting destination and we are so pleased that you felt that we met your needs. We hope you will be back!
I stayed in a cabin, which was well-appointed and clean. The space between the cabins and away from the inn made it feel very private. I strongly recommend the Inn at Cedar Falls.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your comments! We hope you will visit us again!
This was our fourth visit in as many years to this wonderful, relaxing get-away. A chance to truly "unplug" from stress...no blackberry, no TV, no phone just enjoying the beauty of the area and pampering treatment from the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls. The meals are truly works of art and the massage therapists gifted!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you so much for the great review. We are so happy that you once again had a peaceful and relaxing stay with us. We hope you will be back!
My husband and I have been to the Inn on one prior occasion, but this time, we decided to also let our daughters experience the peace, calm, and tranquility of Redbud Cabin. They are 12 and 10, so as you can imagine, we were a bit worried about the lack of electronics and how they would react. To our pleasant surprise, they loved it and are already asking when they can come back! The getaway allowed our family the opportunity to reconnect and separate ourselves from ringing phones, kids ringing the doorbell, and just plain hustle and bustle of everyday life. We colored, played games, read, cookied and just enjoyed each other's company. I would recommend this for any active family! Tonya Toops, Grove City, OH
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Time together is so important and we are so happy that your family was able to find that with us. Providing people with a chance to reconnect is definitely one of our goals. We hope you and your family will be back!
30 hour escape to hike and enjoy the peaceful winter in Hocking Hills. Had a phenomenal dinner and breakfast. Thank you!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your comments! The Hills truly are peaceful in the winter. We hope you will be back for another escape!
Had a wonderful stay for the weekend; gourmet food, quiet & relaxing cottage, wonderful massage and a friendly and caring staff. What more could one want?
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thanks for the great comments! We are so happy you were able to enjoy a relaxing stay with us and we hope that you'll be back!
My wife and I were celebrating our 14th honeymoon (anniversaries are for old people :)) and stayed in the Trillium cottage for one night as one of our stops. The cottage was very clean and very inviting. All we could see from the windows was woods because the cottages are spread so far apart. We ate at the restaurant Friday evening and the food was amazing! I would go back just for dinner. The service was top-notch. We hiked old man's cave and really enjoyed seeing the the naturally-sculpted sand and limestone.
If you are a traveler who is picky about where you stay, put this on your list.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for the fabulous review! We do our best to compliment the beauty and peace of the Hocking Hills and provide our guests with a relaxing and romantic stay. We are also very proud of our restaurant and certainly hope that you will be back!

Excellent choice for visit to Hocking Hills State Park
Ideally located for access to the caves, falls, cliffs and other attractions in Hocking Hills State Park. Best place in the park to eat lunch. Great B&B breakfast. Gourmet dinner and great wine selection can't be beat.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for the great review! We hope you will be back soon!
I surprised my wife for our sixth anniversary by taking her to the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls. What a great time we had. We were in the Bittersweet Cottage and couldn't have been more pleased. It was very quiet and peaceful, great hiking within walking distance, excellent food at the restaurant, and we topped it off with a couples massage at the spa. I would recommend the Inn to anyone who loves to hike or anyone who just wants to get away and relax. My wife and I just got back home and she already wants to know when we can come back again. Thank you for a great weekend.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We are so happy that we were able to make your anniversary a relaxing and memorable experience. We do hope you will be back soon!
My partner and I have been to the Inn five times in the last 2 1/2 years and have reservations for this coming fall. There is no better place for relaxation amidst a remarkably beautiful part of Ohio. The accommodations are superb and the staff is wonderful. It is definitely for adults who want a break - no phone (cell or land), TV, and no internet in the cabin we rent. Note that my rating on value is not a negative, rather, it is priced very fairly for what it delivers.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for the great comments! The Hills in the fall are breathtaking and we are exciting to have you back to see them!
For Valentines Day my husband surprised me with a visit to the Inn. From the time we arrived until we checked out the service was great. We had dinner that evening and the food was outstanding. I also liked the fact that the Chef and the Innkeeper came around to check and see how things were. The rustic feel of the Inn made it very relaxed and comfortable. While it was winter we did get out and did some hiking. The fresh snow only added to the charm of it all. I can't wait to go back!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Even with the winter snow the Hocking Hills is a magical place. Thank you for staying with us and we hope you will be back.
The quiet and the beauty draw my husband and me to the Inn when we need to rest and recharge. The stay is never long enough. The cottages provide wonderful wooded views and are private and well equipped. We love the atmosphere of the log cabin restaurant and the wonderful food. There is no need for us to look anywhere else for our perfect getaway. Once the children get older, we will stay longer!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for the wonderful review. We look forward to having you back - and for a longer stay!
THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME AT HOCKING HILLS,STAYED IN A COTTAGE, WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE TO STAY FOR A BREAK FROM EVERYDAY LIFE. NO DISTRACTIONS,ROOMS WERE EXCELLENT, BREAKFAST WAS EXCELENT, AND THE SPA ! WOW ... I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO GET AWAY..AND PLAN A FUTURE VISIT.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your wonderful comments! Peace and relaxation are certainly our goals and we are so pleased you found those with us. We look forward to your next visit!
the weekend was amazing! i cant believe how quiet and calm everything is! dark sky at night beautiful scenes! more than you expect.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] The night sky is brilliant from the Hocking Hills! With little to no outside lights in the area, it is easy to see millions of stars. What a great way to relax, laying in a hammock with a loved one and looking at the universe. It is breathtaking.
My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely weekend with our daughter and son-in-law at one of the cabins at Cedar Falls. The place is amazing. The grounds are so beautiful and the cabin was a perfect combination of primitive and comfort. The dinner was wonderful, and all of the staff was very polite and accomodating. It really was almost like going to Disney in Ohio! Our only surprise was a furry little visitor who showed up late every night, but since the back of our cabin was nothing but forest, we understood it was part of the experience. We will be back.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your lovely review of our Inn. Our accommodations offer a relaxing and comfortable place to connect with family and with nature. Being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hocking Hills only adds to the experience. We look forward to seeing you again.
We booked the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls for our 5th anniversary. We booked their “Adventure Package”. They have a one-adventure and two-adventure package. We weren’t really interested in any of the other adventures other than zip-lining, so we opted for the one adventure and went hiking – a lot.
Booking and reservations were very smooth. The Inn took care of our zip line reservations. I e-mailed my meal preferences a few weeks before our stay. They required half of the package price down, and the other half at the conclusion of our stay. It was all very convenient.
I knew right away that this was indeed a wonderful place the moment we stepped inside. The office staff welcomed us, gave us excellent directions, and basically catered to our needs. Our first dinner (picnic basket style) arrived within minutes of entering our very cozy and exceptionally clean room. The bed was SO comfortable.
Out of all the wonderful aspects of our stay, the food probably stands out the most. Chef Anthony was simply brilliant. I had the chef special crab cakes and they were simply out of this world. I was pleased to find out that you don’t need to stay at the Inn to eat in the restaurant, but you do need reservations.
Some of our other highlights include:
-making a campfire for just us. There were Smore makings available, but we were too full from dinner. We just enjoyed the warm fire.
-Relaxing in the hammock as the sun went down and the stars came out.
-Having a beer in the tavern
Everyone at the Inn was very easy to work with and could help you with any of your travel needs in the area. If you’re planning to travel to the area, or if you’re looking for excellent service and a unique place to stay, check out the Inn at Cedar Falls.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We are happy to have had the opportunity to make your anniversary a special one. We work very hard to anticipate the needs of our guests and are extremely happy that we could make your stay so enjoyable. Everyone from the kitchen staff and housekeeping to the office staff and the grounds keepers share a love for what they do and hopefully it shows.
My sister and I celebrated my birthday at the Inn and took a room in the lodge. It was modest, clean and comfortable. I felt for the price it was a bit too modest.
However, the dinner and breakfast the next morning was the best! Really made the stay memorable.
The staff overall I felt was a bit unfriendly and cold. Not the most welcoming. I would have expected more personalized and warm attention for an intimate, upscale retreat.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for posting your review. Our mission is to strive for EXCELLENCE in everything we do. I apologize our staff wasn't more hospitable. I have shared your comments with our restaurant staff. Rest assured, the next you visit we will be at our best. Also, we are adding some amenities to a few of the rooms like refrigerators and electric stoves. Let us know how we do next time you visit!
One night just wasn't enough, but we were thankful and enjoyed our time together with no TV or cell phones to distract us. We enjoyed reading the journals full of entries from past guests. There's some history there and I hope they will always be preserved.
Nice and homey, and just lying in the hammock as a nearby catbird sang to us was the best.
The food was a little disappointing. The first time we stayed at the Inn was about four years ago and every bite was a joy. But the last two times we've eaten there we have been disappointed, although the steak my husband ordered this time was mouth watering. He was willing to share for which I was grateful! Yummy!
We will definitely be back for a longer stay, perhaps for our fifteenth anniversary!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] One night is not enough to enjoy all that we and the Hocking Hills have to offer. You could spend many days hiking the park trails. You could relax your cares away at our spa or you can just stay in and reconnect with the ones you love. Whatever your choice, you will not regret it!
My husband proposed to me at Cedar Falls 14 1/2 years ago, so we were delighted to recieve a gift certificate to the Inn at Cedar Falls as a gift. The staff was very accomodating & friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is perfection! I enjoyed the best crab cakes I have ever had & my husbands gnocchi was delectable! We will definately be back for another fabulous getaway!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Creating traditions have become so important in these busy times. Thank you for celebrating your tradition with us. We look forward to your next getaway.
We go to this lovely Inn twice a year, for our combined birthday celebration in the Spring and for Thanksgiving in the fall. We loved the very quiet relaxed nature of this place in a serene setting with fabulous food and exceptional service. Some may object to the lack of TV's and Phones but to me that is part of the appeal. we hike, read and play games. We always leave feeling so much better than when we arrived.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] In this volatile economy we are so blessed that you continue to stay with us at the Inn. Look forward to seeing you in the Spring.
A friend and I recently stayed overnight at the Inn. There were few guests at the Inn so we basically had the Inn and the common area to ourselves where we enjoyed a fire and the games available. Additionally there were a variety of books available in our room which I enjoyed looking through. The staff is exceptional - friendly, accommodating, helpful. Our dinner was delectable ! The term 'melt-in-your-mouth' truly applies at the Inn's restaurant and our compliments to the chefs and the entire staff for an exquisite dining experience. We topped off our short stay with a massage in the spa's enclosed porch which enhances the experience by incorporating the natural beauty of the area. I look forward to returning to the Inn and hope to treat my daughters to a visit to the Inn soon. In fact, my 09 vacation my be right here in Ohio enjoying the Inn's accommodations and the beauty and hiking found in the Hocking Hills area.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] The restaurant is the heart of the Inn. We are looking forward to your return. You may want to try our new Adventure Package available in 2009.
It was wonderful, especially the dinner and breakfast!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your feedback. The Inn strives for perfection in all areas. We will continue to work hard to make every stay a special one.
I hadn't been there for about 4 years ago. The room had been updated with iron/ board, hair dryer on sink. Bed was very comfortable and the room quite pleasant and fresh. Food was outstanding and staff friendly.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] So happy you came back to visit us. Make sure you return soon to experience our latest edition, The Gathering Room. It is scheduled to open December 31,2008.
An absolutely perfect combination for a fun, relaxing getaway....the Zip Line Canopy Tour at Hocking Hills followed by an incredible meal and quiet evening alone in our cottage. Our friends recommended this romantic little adventure and we couldn't agree more that it was an amazing 48 hour vacation. What a lovely treat to watch the colors of autumn from our cozy cottage!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Fall is a spectacular time to visit the Hocking Hills. We were so happy you could join us here at the Inn.
I've stayed at the inn three times over the years (once in the main lodge and twice in the cottages).
Hiking, photography and sightseeing in general around the Hocking Hills area is fabulous in the first place, but staying at the Inn makes it a particularly memorable and relaxing place to visit.
The cottages offer a particularly serene retreat. Sitting out on your own private deck overlooking the wooded gorge, you barely know that anyone else is nearby. Living near a main road in the Detroit area, I really appreciate the q-u-i-e-t privacy the cottages offer.
We've always had great meals at the inn and make sure we eat dinner there at least once during our stay.
I've posted a more complete story about our last visit at http://www.midwestguest.com/2008/09/d%C3%A9j%C3%A0-vu-at-cedar-falls.html
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] On your next visit, you must take in the cabin experience. For extra privacy, sitting on it's own 30 acres, the Strongwolf cabin is a favorite.
What a great place to stay and relax. Staff is wonderful and treat you like family. Food is gourmet! Can't wait to go back! The hiking in the area is better than the Smoky Mountains.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Staying at the Inn and becoming part of our extended family is a part that we enjoy most.
Our's was an overnight getaway-the Cozy Cottage package-and it was everything we hoped, and then some. Apart from the natural beauty of the Hocking Hills, the cottage was well appointed and private. The staff were very accommodating. And the dining experience-both food and ambiance-is wonderful. All in all, a delightful place to relax, re-charge, and rekindle a romance.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for the kind words. The Inn and staff strive for excellent customer care. It is nice to hear that we provided a positive experience for your getaway.
Our family was looking for a short getaway from our normal surroundings and found the perfect spot at your inn. The cabin in the woods was better than expected with a porch overlooking a sloped, wooded ravine that seemed to be never-ending. The four of us spent time together talking about life until the wee hours of the morning, were treated to a truly relaxing sleep, followed by a delicious breakfast in the morning. The entire staff was friendly and the natural beauty in the area is unsurpassed. I almost forgot to mention dinner the night before. We all had different entrees and there was not a single bite that remained. Will be back for sure, God willing.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We are so happy you chose to stay with us. In our busy lives it is hard to find time to "connect" with each other. We were happy to play a part in that connection. Look forward to your return visit.
We recently held a staff retreat at the Inn & Spa At Cedar Falls. I would recommend this location to any organization or individual looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and really get some work (or play) done.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your review. The Inn is currently constructing the Gathering Place that will be even more accommodating for groups and retreats. Looking forward to your next visit.
It was a wonderful experience - quiet & peaceful getaway. the dining was exceptional. Out of site breakfast as part of the package! We will be back!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We thank you for your comments. Come back and visit us in the Fall and Winter. Hocking Hills is spectacular.
A well needed rest and relaxation by both my husband and myself...In spite of the vicious storms going on in the area.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thunder in echoing in Hocking Hills is like no other. Following a good storm we are further blessed with beautiful waterfalls.
It was our 30th wedding anniversary, and we happened to leave for a trip on that day hoping to find someplace special to spend the evening. Since we didn't know for sure what route we would end up taking, I just took along tour books to check out hotels that might be nearby. Noticed The Inn at Cedar FAlls in our Select Registry book, and found that we would be near. Tried to call, but couldn't get through, so we just drove up to the place, and since it was a weekday were lucky enough to get in. And, to make this even a better celebration, I discovered in our PBS Membercard book a 50% off deal which the hotel gladly honored.
Our room was clean, just the right size, and came complete with a large outside porch with rockers that overlooked the Ohio fields and woods. Just what the doctor ordered for two tired seniors. We ate at the Inn restaurant, a gourmet experience not to be missed, and spent a quiet restful night. The weather was cool for a summer night, so we were able to open the windows and drink in the fresh air - something you can't do in many hotels these days. And, in the morning, along with our room came a wonderful breakfast which sent us off fortified for the day of traveling.
My regret is that we arrived exhausted and didn't have the time to spend visiting the abundance of free state parks nearby.
Hopefully, we can return again and take in all the hiking and beauty.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Congratulations again for your anniversary. We were so happy you chose to stay with us. Thank you for the comments.
We stayed in the cabins which were just great. Very secluded and private with very comfortable furnishings. Room comes with coffee maker and refridgerator and stocked with homemade cookies, coffee, tea, creamer and complimentary bottled water. Nice touch. Very peaceful and serene. Saw mama deer with her babies in the morning right outside our deck. Had a massage in the spa which was very nice. Perhaps a little expensive for a 50 minute massage (I can get an hour massage at home in Columbus for $30 less at my country club). Staff in the spa and inn very friendly. Dinner was perhaps the only slight disappointment. Meal felt rushed. Food was delivered too fast and therefore we completed a four course meal in 45 minutes. Traveling companion had filet of beef and I had pork. Hers was delicious, mine was undercooked (even for the new pink pork cooking standards!) When I asked for it to be cooked a little longer, one minute later I was handed back my plate with the pork obviously microwaved resulting in a now tough piece of meat. Breakfast was very nice and delicious. Staff accommodated special request for item not on their planned menu for that morning. Overall, I would definately return just for the beauty of the setting alone and the peacefulness the cabins offer. Hiking trails are so close and God's beauty is all around!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you very much for your comment to Bedandbreakfast.com. Although we strive for excellence, there are times that we may fall short. Pleased by assured that your concerns are being addressed. We look forward to your return visit.
I stayed at the Inn at Cedar Falls so that I could do some hiking at Hocking hills. I saw the most beautiful sites that I've ever seen at Hoking Hills. The inn as perfect - food was superb, hospitality was excellent! A VERY relaxing getaway! A great stress reliever. Great value!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for your comments. There is not a time here that isn't spectacular. We look forward to your return visit to Hocking Hills and the Inn & Spa At Cedar Falls.
My wife and I have stayed at the Inn 3X and absolutely love their food. I had the best crab cakes & berry cobbler ever. I'd drive two hours just for the food!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank for your comments. The Berry Cobbler has been a favorite here at the Inn for years. It will be awaiting your next visit!
For our third visit to the Inn at Cedar Falls, we brought along our dear friends to enjoy this charming inn, delicious food, and God's nature. We will return again later this year or next spring. We love it!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We are so pleased that you were able to share the Inn and Hocking Hills with your friends. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
I Stayed in the Hocking Hills area for the 1st time ever. The Inn has nice cabins as well the Inn it's self. Great food, both breakfast and dinner were included. Would highly recommend to stay here and I will return.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for taking the time to post a comment on BedandBreakfast.com. We are looking forward to your return visit.
What a great place. The rooms in the Inn are clean and comfortable, but the surroundings really did it for me. The nearby woods and the Cedar Falls are spectacular and the rolling hills which surround the Inn provide a complete getaway experience. No cellphones, no TV, no alarm clock, no radio (there is wifi)-- but get over it, mother nature makes a much better soundtrack.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] We believe with today's busy lifestyles, everyone needs time to recharge. So happy you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the comments.
An hour+ from the city of Columbus it was a personal escape to the beauty and quiet of the Hocking Hills - which I really needed. I took the least expensive room which fully met my needs. (On another trip here my wife and I enjoyed a cabin which exceeded my expectations).
The meals were outstanding and were enjoyed in the rustic log house. One day it was sunny and warm. That day I enjoyed lunch on the open patio bathed in sunlight. Also had a couple of IPA's there before dinner.
I took a hike to Cedar Falls (not to be missed) and later hung out in a hammock set back under some trees.
Even the following drizzley day was enjoyable. I could lay back and read a book or use the WIFI for my laptop.
Staff was efficient and "downhome" friendly.
I look forward to my return to this wonderful quiet spot.
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] So glad you could join us for an escape. It is not often that we can find tranquility in "our own backyard".
Thank you for the comments.
Had a great dinner while I was there! The location is near Cedar Falls so some great jogging an dhiking are right out the front door.
The cabins were really nice - spread out so not on top of each other and hadd a oversized jetted tub and fireplace.
Very comfortable!!
[Resource Id: innkeeperresponse, Set: reviews] Thank you for taking time to leave you comments. They are important to us and to others who have not yet visited the area.
Look forward to your return.
