We had a wonderful experience at the Brownstone Inn. Room was comfortable and cozy, food was great and the atmoshphere was inviting and friendly. Robin does a great job making your visit a memorable one. The house is a jewel with lots of history and is within walking distance of many things to do. We will be back!

The house has alot of history and beautiful but our bed was very uncomfortable. There was no tv as stated on the web site. It was quiet and very close to all the attractions. Robin was very helpful in giving tips and directions to wonderful places to visit. Breakfast was ok but not much variety. Our room was clean enough and was cool. Compared to staying in the busy downtown area it was worth it for the quiet. Overall an acceptable visit.

My stay at Brownstone Inn Downtown Cleveland has been a wonderful experience for many reasons. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars in each category, and would recommend this Inn to any visitor of Cleveland without reservation. First, Brownstone Inn is a beautifully restored Victorian building with great period furniture and design. Robin, the owner of the Inn, graciously gave a tour of the floors and explained the history and restoration of the building. The rooms are elegantly appointed. The bed in my room is incredibly comfortable (with very soft and fluffy coverings) - I fell asleep quickly and woke up refreshed. The gorgeous dinning room has a fireplace, adding warmth and coziness to cold, snowy days. Robin, the wonderful owner of the Inn, serves great breakfast in this dinning room each morning. Second, the Inn is at a great location. It is only one block from the Healthline Bus (serves Cleveland Clinic, among others), which can take you to University Circle on the east side (where you will find Cleveland Art Museum, Natural History Museum and Botanic Garden) or Tower City on the west side (where you can catch the Redline to the airport) in a few minutes. I had no trouble finding the Inn at all even though it is my first visit of the city. To grab a quick bite, you will find a Subway within easy walking distance to the Inn. Last but certainly not the least, Robin is the perfect host. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, he gives easy directions so you can find whatever attraction you may be looking for. He makes Brownstone Inn a home away from home and a perfect choice to stay for a visit of Cleveland.

4,8 out of 5We stayed at the Cottage
novembre 30, 2009
We spent Thanksgiving week-end in Cleveland as a mid-way point between where we live and where our kids live. I chose the Cottage (see location 2) because I wanted a place where we could relax and all be together. It provided everything I was hoping for. Living room, dining room, kitchen plus two bedrooms and a shared bath. We had space to sit and visit, play games, read. It was great. No breakfast was included, but we found the neighborhood bakery down the street, which was fabulous. The location couldn't be better---just across the bridge and you're downtown. The view of the lake was great.
5 out of 5Best B&B for weddings in Cleveland!
septembre 22, 2009
We got married in downtown Cleveland this May, and rented out the entire Brownstone Inn for some of our out-of-town family and quest. It was the best idea ever and we highly recommend anyone having a wedding in Cleveland check this place out before a Hotel. We put some people up at the Marriot too and after seeing the Brownstone they asked to switch! Robin, the host, was very helpful to make sure our guests were satisfied in every way. There are different size rooms for different needs, so we were able to arrange our aunt and uncle with kids in one of the small suites and parents and grandparents in the multiple single rooms. My mom was so impressed with all the antiques and decorations in the building that she said she “almost took more photos in the Brownstone than at the wedding!” In the morning, Robin prepared different types of food, juice and coffee. The entire family was able to sit down and enjoy a wonderful breakfast together at the large antique table. Our grandmother is a meticulous clean freak, and even she commented on how clean and comfortable their stay was at the Brownstone Inn. One of our guests from Hawaii enjoyed the place so much that she now stays there every time she comes to Cleveland for business. Our wedding was perfect and the perfection was made so much easier by Robin Yate’s Brown Stone Inn’s hospitality and attention to detail. Thanks Robin Daniel and Vivian Thiel
