    A Magnificent wooded setting and convenient location offer travelers a pleasant alternative in lodging. Twelve richly appointed rooms are surronded by a lake and an 18 hole golf course. All rooms provide guests with a relaxing jacuzzi and a spectacular view of the lake and golf course. Adjacent to The Inn is Bass Lake Taverne, where guests enjoy dining amid crackling fireplaces, or on a spacious outdoor patio. Private rooms are also available for meetings, weddings and other gatherings.

    Where's the Lake?

    We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean but not unique in any way. Dinner and brunch were outstanding. The Bass Lake Inn is definitely not "surrounded by a glistening lake" as advertised. However, there is a small pond next to the Inn.

    Cozy but needs updating

    Room furnishings are basic hotel furniture, despite there being room for much nicer chairs & tables. Mattress is not the most comfortable I've slept on. Small, 19" TV but with cable. Nice fireplace, porch deck. Wireless internet usually works good. On-site restaurant is outstanding. Overall, it's cozy but the owners need to invest in updating the furnishings & linens.
