We had a wonderful stay at Hudson Manor. It was clean, comfortable and close to town and to Watkins Glen Park.We stayed with friends and took advantage of the guest kitchenette by playing Pinochle in the evening. The 3 course breakfast was delicious. Kristine (Jim was out of town) was a friendly and accommodating hostess. This is going to be our choice of places to stay during our next visit to Watkins Glen.

We stayed at Hudson Manor for two nights this fall and it was really great. It was a pleasure getting to know Jim the owner, he gave us a wonderful welcoming and his homemade daily varying breakfast was just delicious. We can definitely recommend this place and would love to come back one day.

I was in need of a room close to Watkins Glen International racetrack. I had never been to this area of New York. I found this place from previous travelers' reviews when it was under previous ownership. The reviews were nothing but great. I was a little concerned about staying during the transition, but these fears disappeared after meeting Jim and Kristine. What a nice couple. Just what I was looking for. Felt like home. My every need was met. I can't recommended them highly enough now, and I am sure it will only get better as time goes on. Joseph Schifini, MD

Sad because we just learned that Julie and George have recently sold their beautiful Victorian home. We have been frequent guests at this B&B over the years and always felt right at home - the reason we would return year after year! The breakfasts were excellent - George would serve a 3-course breakfast and Julie baked the most delicious breads and pastries! The home is beautiful and located within walking distance to town. George and Julie could always provide recommendations on places to go eat and things to do while visiting the area. They would always do anything they could to make your stay a memorable experience. We especially enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch at the end of the day sharing stories with both of them! We want to thank you for making us feel like a part of your "family" over the years! We understand that the new owners will be taking over sometime in June. We wish them much success and hope they continue to provide the same wonderful experience as we have had to future guests! Our best wishes to George and Julie in the next chapter of your lives - thanks for all the memories over the years!! We'll miss you!

We just got back from a 3 night stay at Seneca Lake Watch B&B. On a scale from 1-10 this is a 10! George and Julie are just delightful! They are the perfect hosts. The house is roomy and immaculate. The wrap around porch overlooks the lake and it's beautiful views. Breakfast was a treat every morning. One was more delicious than the other. And plenty filling. We didn't have to stop for lunches during our wine tastings. We stayed in the Kueka room. King bed, the room was very spacious, balcony and a private bath. In the evening we sat around the living room with our friends, played games and chatted. We felt right at home. George and Julie are very knowledgeable of the area and will make suggestions if needed. If you are going to Watkins Glen and are looking for a B&B, look no further. I can't imagine staying anywhere else! Thanks George and Julie, we had a great time!

If you are going to Watkins Glen this is the place that you are going to want to stay. The Innkeepers- Julie and George will make you feel right at home, serve fresh delicious feasts for breakfast, and make fabulous suggestions of where to go and what to do- if you wish. Should you prefer to remain solitary you will have that as well. The Inn itself is a large Victorian house filled with charm and clean as a whistle. The rooms are comfy and cozy and the views of the lake are glorious. The wraparound porch is a great place to view the lake or you can sit on the deck in the back. I liked sitting in the gazebo and strumming my guitar- you can do that if you like as well.

Stayed July 2014 for two nights while our daughter attended orientation at Ithaca College 30 minutes away. The house itself has a lot of charm and is quiet. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Full Breakfast both mornings was excellent and obvious the innkeepers put thought and effort into it. I would highly recommend it,

I HIGHLY recommend Seneca Lake Watch Bed & Breakfast! It was obvious that George and Julie love people and love running their B&B. Everything they do is first class. After they establish the dietary requirements of their guests, a wonderful 3-course breakfast in a beautiful dining room can be expected. The pastry was served warm from the oven as Julie bakes something new every day. George is never without a smile whether he's preparing breakfast, making dinner reservations for guests, talking about the local wines or cleaning the beautiful Victorian house which is meticulously clean. The location is perfect and within walking distance from town. Staying at Seneca Lake Watch B&B felt like being in the home of your favorite relatives!

The Seneca Lake Watch Bed & Breakfast is exactly what you hope for when you decide you want to stay in a B & B. Large lovely rooms, all with private baths. Wonderful owners who make every effort to make their guests comfortable, including having a guest living area and well equipped guest kitchen And wonderful breakfasts prepared and served by the hosts. My room was the Cayuga. A large room, good closet space, lots of drawers in the chest, two windows with a view of the lake. The private bath was immediately outside of the door of the room. The hosts provide a large comfy terry cloth robe for guests in the two rooms whose private bath is not inside of their room All of the rooms are on the second floor of the house and up stairs typical for these older homes. Parking is on the street. Two of the rooms have large attached decks with views of the lake. Cayuga has a portico right next to the room with a view of the lake. One room does not have a lake view (and has to walk a bit down the hall for their private bath). The 5th room shares the portico with Cayuga but it did have their private bath inside the room. Breakfast is served in two sittings when the property is full– at 8:15 and 9:15. The food was excellent and substantial. 3 courses, usually a fruit followed by a bakery item and then the main course The main courses when I was there were Belgian Waffles with fruit, a baked egg dish and apple pancakes, all served with sausage. As with most bed & breakfasts, the hosts are a large part of what makes or breaks the experience. George & Julie do a wonderful job making you feel as though you are a guest in their home (which technically you are). However the property is for sale so if George and Julie are not still the owners I can’t guarantee that you’ll have the same wonderful experience I did.
