Sur les quais de la rivière est face à l'horizon panoramique de Manhattan, le Greenpointer offre un hébergement élégant merveilleusement.Le lit & le petit déjeuner est situé dans l'enclave de hanche de Greenpoint-Williamsburg, qui est à l'épicentre de ce qui est nouveau & passionnant à New York. Occupant une maison en rangée en bois historique datant de 1820 est les 2 chambres d'hôtes concepteur. Amoureux de la maison ancienne est charmés par les détails qui comprennent de larges planches, les plafonds étain & même une baignoire à pattes de griffe. La maison a également été étudiée par les archéologues qui disvcovered un trésor historique de l'édifice. Contrairement à la construction traditionnelle sont le vintage mobilier modern du milieu du siècle [objets datant de dix-neuf années 1940 aux années soixante-dix.]. Beaucoup sont des pièces concepteur originales, certains avec provenance important. En outre il autres pièces contemporaines uniques, art & accessoires ajoutant à l'ambiance unique créatrice de la Greenpointer. Greenpoint, principalement d'une combinaison de lofts industriels de faible hauteur & du XIXe siècle par les maisons en rangée, a l'atmosphère & l'échelle d'un village de bord de l'eau fraîche. Cette retraite de Brooklyn à la mode avec fabuleuses restaurants, boutiques et bars est également ultra pratique à Manhattan tous a à offrir. I was a late twenty something traveler looking for something a little more private than a hostel but more affordable than a hotel, so I looked on B&B.com and found the Greenpointer. I almost thought this place was too good to be true. The price was perfect, the room was huge, clean, and furnished with awesome mid-century modern pieces (there was a large Burke Saarinen table in my room!) The Inn is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on quite Green Street with a two minute walk to Franklin Ave. and five minute walk to Manhattan Ave. where there are plenty of wonderful shops, coffee bars and restaurants. I stayed at the Greenpointer this September for three days and had a great experience. Glenn, the innkeeper/owner was more than accommodating and extraordinarily friendly; I arrived three hours before check-in and he let me leave my belongings in the room and gave me a map of the area pointing out places to shop and eat. I honestly don't know where else you could stay in a hip area of Brooklyn for $100 a night and get the space, style and accommodations that are offered at the Greenpointer. Glenn was a great host.
