  • We warmly invite you to discover the Front Street Inn. We've created a destination inn that offers peace and privacy in the heart of Wilmington's bustling Historic District. A few steps in one direction takes you to the galleries, shops, pubs, restaurants and the Riverwalk. Another direction leads you to historic landmarks and the extensive residential section of beautifully restored homes and ever-changing gardens.

Our transformation of this historic building, once the Salvation Army of the Carolinas, retained the arched windows, thick brick walls and maple floors allowing us to begin writing a new chapter in the Wilmington's colorful history.
    Le bistro est une suite de beau temps, romantique et spacieuse luxueuse. Il comprend une main personnalisée peinture king importée d'Europe, avec les français de linge de lit. Français en porcelaine double puits et salle de bain complète. Une baignoire spa pour deux, patio humide bar et semi-privée surplombant les beaux jardins.
    Le Taverna est une suite romantique ensoleillée avec grandes fenêtres. Fonctionnalités une main faite lit queen de fer et construit dans le lit de la journée. Grande cheminée. Mosaïque européenne bodyspray douches pour deux. Patio privé.
    The Jacques Cousteau Suite is a fun, pastel-colored suite that includes a built-in queen bed in the bedroom, and a comfortable futon couch and hand-crafted mother-of-pearl and Manta Ray skin armoire in the living area. Wet bar, fridge.
    The Georgia O'Keeffe is a comfortable king suite with lots of art and lots of space. A full bath with mosaic-tile sink is separate from the two-person spa tub that's directly off the bed room. The suite also includes a lovely living room with large sectional sofa adjacent to the wet bar and fridge area.
    The Segovia retains the Salvation Army's original exposed brick wall and arched brick windows. A comfortable and spacious room with an extravagant mahagony four-poster queen bed set and leather recliner. Wet bar, fridge, walk-in shower. Very popular with our business men.
    The Kipling is a charming room with a wicker and iron queen bed. The bedroom has exposed brick and plantation shutters. The bath, off the sitting area, has a handmade mirror and step-in shower. Wet bar, fridge. A Very peaceful and relaxing room.
    The Monet is a bright and sunny room with hand painted walls, a wrought-iron queen bed, and claw foot tub and shower. The beautiful free standing sink is from the original historic Bellamy Mansion.
    Our most requested and "deluxe" suite. Locally-made king sleigh bed, wood burning fireplace with plenty of firewood, wet bar and fridge. Plantation shutters open into the bath with large spa tub for two. French doors open onto the private wrought-iron balcony, overlooking Front St., with peaks at the Cape Fear River.

Nos douze suites sont décorées de beauté et confort à l'esprit et ornés d'art originales recueillie dans des galeries, des foires, des enchères et des greniers. Chaque suite est spacieux et plein de lumière. Aussi offerts sont les packages de spa. Un panier de champagne, un fruit et le fromage et les deux massages d'une heure. Ou, un panier de spa avec cidre de vin, champagne ou mousseux, gel deluxe, sels de bain et savon main fraisé, un massage une heure suivie avec la main de fraises croisement dans le chocolat. Pour des occasions spéciales, nous vous proposons un forfait avec la main rouge ou blanc le vin et les fraises croisement dans le chocolat avec un bouquet de fleurs fraîches. Saine et abondantes de petits déjeuners sont servis quotidiennement et d'un jeu et salle d'exercices se trouve dans notre niveau inférieur. Privé Parking rue garantit le confort et la sécurité pour nos clients.

    we had such apleasent stay at the front street inn!!! everything you want to see and do is in walking distance. bring acomfortable pair of shoes.there is so much you will want to pack into each day. thanks for having us as you guests..

    We stayed in the Bistro Suite with the dining package. They suggested a wonderful restaurant and had delicious chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room. Breakfast was so good. Looking forward to our next stay.

    I travel frequently for business and pleasure and have fallen for FRONT STREET INN. While drinking wine in the cute lounge area, I've met interesting people and picked up good local travel tips. The location is great and the people lovely.

    Our Most Favorite Place to come "home" to!

    We are originally from Wilmington, and every time we come back to visit family, we always book at stay at the Front Street Inn. We have stayed here at least 5 times, and have never been disappointed. The rooms are great, the location is so convenient, and breakfast is always very good too. We can't wait for our next stay!!

    Both Richard (the owner) and his wife were warm and welcoming when we first arrived at the inn. They were also very friendly and were able to give great advice about the town and places to see and eat at.
