Nicest hosts, wonderful stay

5 sur septembre 26, 2015

We stayed in the Ella Davis room and loved it-comfortable, quiet, and clean. Shel and Deb could not have been more helpful and friendly. Hated to leave. Thank you!

Excellent stay

The owners are attentive to every detail. They are very helpful. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was delicious. We booked with them to stay again.

The owners of this bed and breakfast inn know the true meaning of the word hospitality. This 100 year home is impeccable with beautiful and comfortable guest rooms. This was absolutely the best experience ever and I definitely will be returning here!

A Five Star Experience

5 sur septembre 12, 2015

My friend from California visited me for a getaway girlfriend weekend. She had not much experience with bed and breakfasts, since most of her traveling history was with hotels and resorts. After staying at Oak Hill on Love Lane in Waynesville, NC and being the recipient of Shell and Deb's hospitality, she is now a convert. (I already was, after having stayed with my husband there a few weeks ago.) This is a remarkable inn...first class in every way. The house is lovely, tastefully furnished, yet extremely comfortable (like being at home). Shell and Deb's attention to the needs of their guests is unusual--always available to answer questions and offer recommendations for local activities, yet non-intrusive, allowing guests their privacy. And the breakfasts are.....how can I say?...simply delicious. When Shell and Deb learned that my friend needed to eat gluten free, they prepared a special breakfast just for her. She was delighted! After having stayed at Oak Hill on Love Lane on two separate occasions, I look forward to going back yet a third, and a fourth, and a...well, you get the picture. Bravo, Shell and Deb!

A beautiful place

5 sur septembre 10, 2015

Deb and Shell are wonderful hostesses. They are kind and helpful. We have stayed in many B&B's but this one exceeds them all. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast table is set very attractive and Deb bakes the most delicious muffins. Thank you Deb & Shell Kurt and Pauline

Best bed and breakfast ever!

5 sur septembre 02, 2015

This was our 5th year staying at Oak Hill on Love Lane. Shell and Deb are the best inn keepers. Deb is a fantastic cook. All of the rooms a lovely. Sitting on the front porch in the late afternoon and evening are always very enjoyable. We have met lots of interesting people. We highly recommend Oak Hill. We plan on visiting sometime next year.

Best all-around we've ever been to.

5 sur août 24, 2015

Room was beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. Hosts were a lovely couple who have been in the hospitality business most of their lives and it shows in everything they do for you. They went over and above the expected level of a host. For example, we traveled by motorcycle so when we were dressed up to go to dinner, they drove us to the restaurant. Never had that happen before. The food was delicious and plentiful and beautifully presented. Can't say enough about this fine home, hosts and the community they live in.

Anniversary getaway.

Deb and Shell were perfect hosts for our two day visit. The B&B is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We plan to return.

Shel and Deb were excellent hosts. We stayed at three (3) bed and breakfasts during our trip and they were the friendliest and the most helpful about the area. Nice room and good food!
