Lovely B & B

5 sur mai 01, 2015

I have to admit that I have never stayed in a bed & breakfast, so I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The owners are friendly and kind, not intrusive or pushy at all. The house was very clean and well-kept. The bed was so comfortable that I actually overslept a bit the first day. I would definitely recommend the carrier houses to anyone traveling to Rutherfordton.

Excellent Retreat

5 sur avril 26, 2015

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying a week at the Carrier Houses B&B. We were there not for vacation but for a funeral. With our minds busy with so many family issues, our stay at Carrier Houses was a really beautiful experience. The room was a delight, outfitted with a wonderful bed, a desk, and storage to clothing and luggage. The breakfasts were not only yummy but lovely to look at. The place was super clean, which is so important. The innkeepers were so incredibly helpful to us as we sought resources in dealing with this family emergency. We came away from our stay feeling calm and pampered. We highly recommend this lovely B&B.

It was a nice stay. They could have told us where the breakfast was held. Nobody showed up to serve breakfast. We weren't sure if they had already served or not. We showed up on time for 20 minutes. The place was cute they just should have communicat better.

Carrier Houses B&B a delight

5 sur novembre 30, 2014

We recently spent a night at Carrier Houses B&B (our fourth visit) and loved it! The houses are delightful, beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lynn, the innkeeper, is gracious, friendly, and full of local information. She also provides a delightful breakfast each morning. We always enjoy Carrier Houses B&B, Lynn and her husband, and look forward to more visits with them.

Re-living an enjoyable memory

3,4 sur novembre 05, 2014

After our first stay at the Carrier Houses several years ago we left with a very good impression and a desire to return. We have returned more than once drawn to the small town atmosphere and the gracious hospitality of Dan and Lynn. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhoods and learning more about the history of Rutherfordton. Sitting out on the front porch on a fall evening was refreshing. The nutritious breakfast around the table with other guests is a great way to start the day!
