Came here with my boyfriend for 2 nights right after New Year's for a quick get away. It was quiet being the day after New Years and we were the only guests there so we had the treat of having the place to ourselves. Cate and Tom were wonderful and she made the best fireside breakfast every morning. Loved the fruit cup with shaved coconut. We are hikers and the breakfast left us satisfied and fueled for the day. The morning glory muffins she made were delicious and we took some extras with us on the hike for later. We were able to view every room since no one else was there and they were all SPOTLESS. You would have never known there was a full house for New Year's Eve the night before. I honestly couldn't pick any that were better than the others. They each had their own uniqueness to offer. There were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, and very nice robes. It was great to hear about the history of the property and how it was a labor of love 12 years in the making. I enjoyed looking over a photo album of the property and how they brought it back to life over the years. Although the Innkeepers live right next door a few steps away, they were there both nights to welcome us back and make sure we had everything we needed. We are local, about 2 hours away and I can't wait to make an excuse to come back!

I stayed at Tamarack’s the night before my wedding with a few members of my bridal party and it was one of the best parts of my wedding day. My bridesmaids got ready with me there that morning, and my groom met me there for our first look in the beautiful garden. When you step on the property you are automatically transported to a villa in Tuscany. The Inn is absolutely stunning and an amazing place for pictures! Our photographers were in awe of the property and so thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph there. My bridal party was also in awe and could not stop looking around and snapping pictures! The best part of our stay at Tamaracks was Cate, the owner. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she is extremely accommodating. She invited me to come see the property before I booked and gave me a tour of each room so I could pick the one I wanted. She made the most amazing breakfast at the time that worked for us, and even offered to bring it upstairs to us so we could focus on getting ready, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy it in the dining room and take in another amazing room in the Inn. We had sandwiches brought to the Inn for lunch and Cate immediately anticipated our needs by bringing us plates, napkins and making us the best pink lemonade I have ever had. Cate truly makes you feel right at home, and as if you are family. All of my wedding pictures from the Inn are stunning because of the amazing backdrop I had. I cannot wait to go back to Tamaracks for my 1 year anniversary, and truly thank Cate for everything!

We are very happy that your wedding day included time at our inn. Tom and I are thrilled every time we experience guests enjoying the ambience of the place. Your reaction makes us realize that the building was worth saving so we can share it with others. We look forward to welcoming returning guests to make more memories.

The Tamaracks Country Villa is a magical place to get away and relax, reconnect or just refuel... My husband and I stole away to this unique bed and breakfast during the snowstorm. The rooms are lovely; the soaking tubs are amazing; the breakfast is excellent in both presentation and content; and we cannot say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the innkeepers, Cate and Tom. Their story about the restoration of the Villa from near ruin is inspiring. They had a dream, and now, their dream has become part of our dream. Bravo!

I almost don't want to tell you how lovely this place is, because I really would like it to remain my secret getaway place! Everything about our stay at Tamaracks Country Villa was phenomenal, from the accommodations (what an amazing building!) to the fantastic hospitality. Tom & Cate went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I would never have thought to make northwestern NJ a vacation destination (we were just attending a wedding in the area), but I'm already looking for excuses to go back and visit again (family reunion, company party, girls' weekend away). It's a perfect spot for a quiet getaway, or would make a beautiful place for a small wedding. I wish I could give them more stars. This is one secret that just shouldn't be kept to myself!

We had our wedding reception at Tamaracks and it was amazing. We had 74 guests and everyone had a fantastic time. The wedding pictues all came out beautiful because it is such a beautiful place. Our family and bridal party stayed the night and everyone was in love with their bedrooms. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Cate and Tom even accommodated a couple of extra people. It was a wonderful evening and we are planning on going back.
