  • Sugar Hill Harlem Inn Video: The Sugar Hill Harlem Inn is located on the high-cliffs overlooking Jackie Robinson Park and Central Harlem. This recently restored Victorian brownstone was built in 1906. It is minutes away from the campuses of both City College and Columbia University, and a short train ride away from the Cloisters. Our rooms have been tastefully decorated by Interior designer Carol Donawa, using musically inspired themes and photographs to weave the unique history and cultural traditions of the African diaspora.

    L'Auberge de Harlem Sugar Hill est situé sur les haut-falaises surplombant Jackie Robinson Park et Central Harlem. Cette brownstone victorienne récemment restauré a été construite en 1906. C'est à quelques minutes des campus du Collège de la ville et Columbia University, et un court en train éloigner le cloître. Nos chambres ont été décorées par Interior designer Carol Donawa, à l'aide de thèmes musicalement inspirés et photographies à tisser l'histoire unique et les traditions culturelles de la diaspora africaine.

    Riding my bicycle is number 1 because I do it every day..rain hail or shine. I collect randon things and then stop. Last year I collected American hand blown glass, that I placed along the wall of the dinning room on the ledge of the wood paneling. Then I collected some old photos and postcards of black men, women and children that I framed and then placed in the square box paneling below. I also have a small collection of black memorabilia on the mantle. I also collect books.

    Petit déjeuner : 8.30-suis 10.30 Nous faisons le petit-déjeuner plus fantastique et inhabituel. Fruits, café thé, toast (pain de santé grain 5 spécial) de beurre et confiture, jus d'orange et céréales qui comprend le tarif habituel (cornflakes, son cheerios et raison), mais nous avons également rendent granola maison avec toutes sortes de graines et les noix et les fruits secs. Puis nous cuire torte espagnole, (oeufs oignons, poivrons et pommes de terre), gâteau de café (il n'existe aucun café en café gâteau!) petit déjeuner quesadilla avec jambon d'oeufs et fromage, gâteau de pomme et les surprises que j'expérimenter de nouvelles recettes. Et plus important-philosophie (recherchez le verre de guillemets dans le milieu de la table). Nous facturons $ 5 par un petit déjeuner pour tous vous pouvez consommer des boissons et philosophize sur.
