The room was better than we had expected (very large) and was a good location to downtown Hudson.

The Gallery Suite was mcuh more than we expected. We were in town for a graduation at nearby Bard College, and having 3 bedrooms and a common living room area was all we were expecting, this was so much more, there is so much room and it is so comfortable, we stayed only one night but enjoyed it completely. And of course within walking distance of all Hudson has to offer. Would stay here again for sure.

I stayed with my family of four at Union street guest house. I was a little apprehensive because of some of the negative reviews. But we had a great time there! They even upgraded us to a bigger suite. The owners were friendly and non intrusive. The houses were tastefully done, it exactly the kind of peaceful place you need when coming from Manhattan. Must visit!

Room is very nice, clean and surrounding is very beautiful. No negative points on the place and how it is maintained. However, I was charged twice to my credit card for only 1 night booked, and I have to contact credit card company to do the reserve on this. I just booked and no amendment of my booking, no cancellation, nothing at all, and no confusion or complecation that would result in any misunderstanding on payment at all.

2 Friends and I recently spent 2 nights at the Union St. Guest House in Hudson, NY. We had a wonderful time and really liked the accommodations. The rooms appear to vary a great deal. The library has a more refined decor and feel, whereas the Bainbridge Suite is more reminiscent of a lakeside cottage (minus the lake). This B&B is one short block away from Warren St. which is the heart of Hudson's restaurants, antique shops (70!), and other shopping, including: 2 book stores, 2 art supply stores, clothing, home decor, etc. The proprietor and his brother were very nice and helpful with advice on restaurants & local info. However, this is not the type of B&B for people who want to hang out with the owners & other guests and hear all about the local attractions, but, if you want a nice, clean and quiet place to stay that is a short walk to the downtown, I highly recommend Union St. The "Dining" category above should have a N/A, as Union St. G.H. offers coffee, tea, and light snacks in the rooms but no meals. (There is also a self-serve beer and wine bar upstairs.) Hudson has a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and breakfast spots. We had an excellent dinner at Ca'Mea (around the corner from Union St. G.H.) and a decent Mexican dinner the following night at Mexican Radio. Wonderful breakfast at Tanzy's, a cozy teapot-decorated space with great service and food. Nolita's is a nice breakfast/sandwich shop to start the day and stock up on lunch to go. For art and/or architecture fans, don't miss nearby Olana -the amazing home and estate of Frederick Church, one of the Hudson River School's most famous painters. This unique Persian-inspired mansion sits high on a hill overlooking the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. Wonderful spot to paint!

We loved our stay at the Union Street Guest House! Our suite was delightful - clean, very comfortable (top notch beds, sheets, showers) and welcoming (coffee, tea, snacks, wine glasses). We spent the first 10 minutes just walking around finding all the beautiful treasures that someone with a wonderful eye chose. Extra bonus points for the private porch and friendly dogs. Definitely stay here if you are in Hudson. P.S. Walking distance to all great shops and restaurants! I gave one star for dining because there is no dining at Union Street but so many wonderful places nearby.

We had a great weekend at the Union Street Guest House. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, this is your place! I did not rate dining, as they do not serve food. However, there is a full honor bar and an open kitchen if you wish to make any food yourself. Our suite also had a large fridge and a great coffee maker with locally roasted coffee available. It was just my husband and I in a room bedroom suite,so we had plenty of room for all of our belongings and to stretch out and relax. The rooms are decorated in a very modern/vintage way. Everything is just so well put together. I would recommend staying here for sure!

D'Albany : prendre le Sud NY état Thruway à la sortie 21 (Catskill). De New York City, New Jersey et le sud de points : prendre sortie 21 (Catskill) sortie péage plaza tourner à gauche sur la route 23B, puis encore à gauche sur 23 est le Nord NY état Thruway. Après avoir traversé le pont Rip Van Winkle, vous verrez des signes de Hudson, 9 G vers le Nord. Lorsque vous entrez Hudson, juste au-delà du premier feu de circulation, vous ira droit sur Union pour deux blocs à 349 #. Dans le Massachusetts et New England : Prendre le Massachusetts Pike à l'Ouest à quitter B-2 (Taconic Parkway Sud) à l'Ouest de la route de sortie 23, Hudson. Prendre la route 23 directement dans Hudson, autour du bord ouest du parc, traverser la rue Warren et prendre un droit sur Union. Trois blocs bas vous verrez la place de la Cour avec American bandstand et # 349 est juste au-delà.
