Lefferts Manor Bed & Breakfast

Stayed in the Osborne Room. Comfortable KS bed; shared large, airy bath. Very clean everywhere. Staff and innkeeper pleasant and helpful. Optional ($10) breakfast different each day; invariably well-prepared. Easy access to Flatbush Ave bus and to subway. Needs a reading lamp. In all other respects a model of its kind; would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Leffert's Clermont place and were very pleased with it. Nice roomy bedroom, large well-equipped kitchen. Temperature was a little high but owner says he can lower the thermostat next time. We were very pleased and recommend this place.

I recently stayed in the Lafayette apartment affiliated with Lefferts Manor. I was nervous about leaving the predictability of a hotel on a recent NYC visit. I need not have worried! It was a better experience than a hotel and very affordable. The apartment we used had two sleeping areas, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Nice towels and soap. The location in Fort Green couldn't have been better. Park and sidewalks for walking, nice neighborhood for dining and shopping, and very close to subway for going into town. (the apartment is in Brooklyn.) The feel of the neighborhood is really one of the best parts of the stay. Don't hesitate to book with this group. You will be in good hands. Have a great stay!

A peine rentrée, que je veux absolument partager mon bonheur d'avoir résidé dans ce lieu fantastique. Marc est un hôte qui sait recevoir. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise, il est disponible, chaleureux sans jamais être envahissant. Il a vraiment le désir de bien faire.De plus, il parle très bien français! Tout est propre et décoré avec goût.Literie très confortable. Ne râtez pas le petit déjeuner, il change chaque jour et est préparé avec soin et avec de bons produits, beaucoup de choses biologiques ou venant des meilleures maisons. Je ne savais pas par exemple que des donuts pouvaient être aussi fins! C'est aussi un grand moment de convivialité. Ordinateur à disposition. La station de métro est à moins de cinq minutes à pied, on est à 20 minutes en métro de Manhattan et le coin est sûr, même la nuit. Bref je ne peux que conseiller vivement cette adresse.

READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY! Maybe B&B is not the right description for Lefforts Manor, it's more then that. The rooms are great and big, the dining room feels like home and is many times the place to meet people from other cultures. The enthousiastic host Mark gives the best information to have the greatest time in the BIG APPLE, which we did :-). We can recommend everyone who's looking for a B&B in NY to stay at Lefforts Manor. The room was very nice, the service provided by Mark was outstanding, and the location was good, just a couple blocks from the Q line subway station. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but it was probably excellent as well!

Could use more hooks for drying towels. Needed a place to sit and put on make up. Room was very large, bed comfortable and furniture well done. Owner helpful when asked.

We stayed at Lefferts Manor for two nights and were thoroughly satisfied with the treatment received. The innkeepers are nice and helpful. They create a friendly climate and are willing to advise you on the "dos" and "don'ts" during your stay in NYC. The rooms are clean, warm and elegant. Highly recommended.

A really nice place to stay! Quiet, clean, and very private. Didn't have a chance to use the kitchen, but is updated, clean and had anything I would have needed. A great place for extended stay in Brooklyn. Mark was great to work with. Will use one of his properties again for sure.

I really enjoyed staying at Lefferts Manor Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are very clean and the people there are very friendly. Whenever I go back to NY, I will definitely be staying at Lefferts Manor Bed & Breakfast again!

I am not a big city girl and the thought of a beige hotel in NYC that cost a lot was not my idea of fun. Discovering Leffert's Manor Fort Greene apartment was amazing. I took the apartment mainly for the kitchen but also it was close to NYC by subway. Imagine a home away from home, great ambience, firm mattress and pillows, fluffy towels... really comfy after a day of traipsing NYC. Mark and Monika are very generous, gracious hosts and next time I may stay at the BnB to experience the brekkies everyone mentions. Then again Fort Greene park was great and so were the markets. Thoroughly recommend Leffert's Manor !

Leffert's Bed and Breakfast is nestled on a brownstone lined street in leafy Brooklyn. Mark's family home is rooted in granola goodness. Their eclectic style and simple but well thought-out rooms provide for welcome respite from bustling New York. After being greeted by Mark's warm welcome we soon felt at home. Twining's tea in hand we sat down with our friendly host to an orientation on the Big Apple. A great starting point to our trip. A thoroughly enjoyable ten day stay in NYC. Exploring the outer borough of Brooklyn, equipped with Mark's local knowledge, added to our travel experience. Lefferts was also a perfectly placed base for exploring the sights of Downtown Manhattan. We definitely will be back!

We stayed at the O'Neal room, which was okay. The beds are good. The room is big. Staying with the Osborne family was really nice. Breakfast was good. Mark and Monica gave us various good tips which made our stay in NY unforgettable. A next visit will surely start at the Lefferts Manor.

Finding this charming, homey b&b in Brooklyn, on the Q subway line was much more than convenient -- the breakfasts were delicious and our hosts did their best to make our stay a pleasure. We'll definitely return.

We just spent a week in New York and can recommend this B&B to anyone heading over there. The location is excellent, the house has great Victorian charm and Mark and Monika were tremendously kind and helpful. The tasty breakfast also deserves a mention! We will be staying there again in the future.

I highly recomend this B&B to any traveler!We had a great time there. We loved the special tasty breakfast every morning. So we could start the day full of strength and power. We felt very comfortable and cosy. It was a little like staying with a good friend, very friendly, helpfull and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay very much! This B&B is a great starting-place to get to know wonderfull New York. We thank the owners nd there marvelous helper (Marli) so much for giving us such a good time!

I was more than impressed with my stay at Lefferts. Both Mark and Monika made my stay a delight. Great location, near Prospect Park and near the Subway. Rooms were excellent. The Breakfasts were amazing and really set my days up for wandering around Manhattan. I recommend this B&B!!!

I had a really lovely time staying at Lefferts Manor. The owners were very friendly, in particular Moni who was very good at advising us at things to do and see. The accomodation was kept clean and the breakfasts were nice too! There was at least one freshly cooked thing each day such as pancakes or muffins. The transport links were convenient with the Prospects Park subway being a five minute walk. In short this was a nice, cosy, friendly well kept B&B with good service. I would definitely recommend it.

My friend and I recently spent 5 nights at Lefferts Manor while we visited my family and enjoyed the sights of NY. I have stayed in other B&Bs in Brooklyn, but I have not seen the equal of the hospitality and friendliness we experienced at Lefferts Manor! Mark and Monika are helpful, flexible, friendly, AND they serve a wonderful breakfast! I'll definitely go back.

This B&B made for the most perfect accommodations on our recent mother/daughter visit to NYC. We loved our room at the top of the house and felt so taken care of by our hosts Mark and Moni. They had great tips for our subway transportation and terrific ideas for places to visit somewhat off the beaten path (Cloisters and DUMBO). While Moni's delicious breakfast prepared us for each day, it was the surprisingly large, claw foot tub and hot cup of tea that soothed the muscles at the end of each day. What a treat! The Osborne's are a wonderful family and the Lefferts Manor is truly a reflection of their caring nature. Our stay could not have been better nor the location more perfect.

these are are the most charming, unobtrusive yet caring hosts, the house is beautifully kept and decorated, the beds are top quality, and brooklyn is the sort of place where one wants to settle for good. highly recommended.

We were drawn to this Bed and breakfast by its beautiful, inviting website and the friendly Innkeeper Mark who immediately took the time to find out all of our travel needs and info. As a 4-person group we wanted to have a private bathroom and he was able to give us two rooms that shared one together after asking another guest if they would re-locate to accommodate us. Once we arrived we felt so at home at Lefferts Manor! Mark & Moni were always available for us and helped plan and arrange countless outings and transportation routes. They keep their beautiful home spotlessly clean and serve a wonderful breakfast every morning. I highly recommend this B & B for any traveler!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. I highly recommend it! The breakfast is very tasty and rooms are spotless. Close to Prospect Park and not far from Williamsburg. Parking was okay but we did have to walk a few blocks sometimes. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and energetic!

The Innkeepers are very caring. I genuinely felt as though they wanted my family to have a great stay.
