    Bienvenue à l'Auberge de pays de Taos au Pueblo de Rio Rancho de Taos, New Mexico.     Beautiful and relaxing

    Taos Country Inn was tucked away off the main road, providing a quiet and relaxing stay. Spacious, clean room with comfy bed. Excellent breakfast and Yolanda was the friendliest, knowledgeable hostess, offering maps, info, and menus to local restaurants. Close drive to the plaza. I'll definitely stay there again!

    Clean and Friendly

    The owner is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. The window hardware were broken. The sink was missing a stopper. The place needs some maintenance. The TV channel changer did not work, and the TV is pretty small. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our time there.

    Un autre des salles d'origine de l'hacienda a plusieurs peinture à l'huile par James Mac un artiste local. La suite a un roi lit et bas couette. Étape vers le bas dans une zone de l'épave de la séance, où un canapé cuir couleur pêche vous invite à vivre un incendie confortable dans un foyer de kiva, construit et conçu par Carmen Velarde local bien connu dont foyers adobe grâce à de nombreux foyers. Une grande fenêtre Image douches la salle avec le chaud soleil du Sud-Ouest. La suite a une grande salle de bain privée avec une main de huit pieds sculptée vanité. Hébergement inclure la télévision et téléphone.

    A very private suite, with an entrance from one of our patios. Step into the sitting area and relax on a colored leather sofa in front of a kiva fireplace, saltillo tile floors, viga and latilla ceilings. Look out the many windows and enjoy the view of Taos Mountain, the pasture and mesa. On occasion you may catch a glimpse of a coyote, a red tail hawk or even a bald eagle. The suite also has beautiful hand carved furniture and a queen size bed with a cozy down comforter, private bath and television.

From the private entrance you can step out into the patio and take in the spectacular views of Taos Mountain and the wide open spaces that surround our lovely Inn. Amazing sunsets and beautiful star filled skies add to the charm of this suite. Pass through the carved doors into the bedroom area where a private bath and a queen size bed with a fluffy down comforter make this a perfect setting for a lovely weekend getaway.

    The only second story and very cozy suite has beautiful hand carved furniture. Cuddle up in your queen size bed and down comforter and enjoy a crackling fire from a corner kiva fireplace. The views of Taos mountain and mesa from your peach colored leather love seat give you a glimpse of the beauty of Taos. Original art by local artist, a television and a private bath complete with a stained glass window make this small suite a wonderful weekend getaway.

    TRUJILLO

    One of the original rooms dating back to the 1850s has been beautifully refurbished. Complete with coved ceilings, vigas, a beautiful corner kiva fireplace and a queen size bed set into an arch. Original art by Bunny Oliver, one of our guests from Austin, Texas, hangs over a peach colored leather love seat, set in a small arch. The private bath has a steeping tub surrounded by talavera tile from Mexico. The French doors provide an exterior entrance from the portal where one can sit and enjoy our sunny blue skies, gardens and the beautiful Taos Mountain.

    Another of the hacienda's original rooms has several oil painting by James Mac a local artist. The suite has a king size bed and down comforter. Step down into a sunken sitting area, where a peach colored leather sofa invites you to enjoy a cozy fire from a kiva fireplace, built and designed by Carmen Velarde a well known local whose adobe fireplaces grace many homes. A large picture window showers the room with warm southwest sunshine. The suite has a large private bath with an eight foot hand carved vanity. Accommodations include Television and Telephone.

    Enjoyed our trip very much! I just wish it would have been cooler:( Air Conditioner in room would have been nice though. But over all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

    Yolanda was a gracious hostess, very welcoming, and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately, the room and especially the bathroom needed updating and refreshing. The common areas were pristine and very well done. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the friendly atmosphere, and visiting with other guests.

    The Taos Country Inn was absolutely wonderful. The trees on the property were in beautiful fall colors. Our host Yolanda gave us wonderful dining suggestions and we felt right at home. Wonderful breakfasts, shopping and restful times, we highly recommend staying here.

    We stayed one night there and it was just beautiful!!! So quiet and peaceful. The hacienda is just beautiful, a true southwestern experience! We heard coyotes yipping after dark!!! And the Milky Way was just spectacular!! Beautifully decorated breakfast room, a wonderful breakfast and superb coffee!! Yolanda who owns and runs this B&B is the most welcoming, charming and lovely lady that you will ever meet! Go in mid October when the aspens are in high color!!! We will always remember Taos Country Inn with warm memories....it was just too short of a stay! If we are ever in Taos again, this is where we will stay!! Loved it!!!
