L'essence du "Vieux Taos". Situé au coeur du quartier historique, cette auberge adobe charmant, colorful offre décor authentique. Resplendissent avec belles illustrations partout, artefacts indiennes et colonial espagnol, le Spa privé sur le toit, cheminées et tous les équipements modernes. Plus ancien Musée et les Indiens Trading Post est à proximité. Recommandé par le New York Times et les USA Today. En vedette sur la série Travel Channel, "Romantique Inns of America".

We stayed here on our honeymoon trip and it was wonderful! There's a lot of history in this beautiful home, and Paco has it packed with amazing art. The patio and garden were beautiful and inviting. The staff were all very kind and helpful, including one of Paco's sons! They saw that we had a couple of bottles of wine in our room and provided us with wine glasses without our having to ask. The breakfasts were delicious with many choices ranging from eggs to granola to made-to-order belgian waffles. We will definitely stay here again. My only criticism would be that the room we stayed in was large, but just a bit overcrowded with furniture. But we had plenty of places to sit!

I had the pleasure of staying here for one night albeit a very busy night because of the "Solar Fest" (which I didn't know when I made the reservation. Despite the chaos Pablo was very gracious and the Inn itself is beautiful. We stayed in the Sonrisa room which was even better than the pics. Breakfast was very nice as well although pretty basic - waffles were good, hard boiled eggs... I would definitely return given the opportunity.

Ambiance and decor are magnificent! Website does not do the place justice. Owner and host were very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Really enjoyed our stay. Kid friendly for sure! Highly recommended.

At the end of 2007 my little sister and I decided to drive west for a road trip to Santa Fe, Taos and Frisco, CO (we're from Chicago). Out of all of hotels and B&B, La Dona Luz was by far our favorite. The fireplace made the room cozy and the staff was very helpful. We can't wait to get back in the summer when the gardens are in full bloom. It is also located in the heart of Taos so walking to all the shops was super easy! We also recommend breakfast at Michael's while you're in town -there's nothing like it. We also brought my dog with and had no hassle checking her in with us too! Overall, this place is Taos through and through! We highly recommend it.
