I found this a most rewarding place to stay. My room was the Casita San Pasqual which opened onto the courtyard. Great breakfast. Very walkable to the center of town. Friendly staff. Very quiet which makes for a very relaxing break.
5 sur 5An Exceptional B&B

Everything about this inn is wonderful. It’s in a quiet area a few blocks from the Plaza, within easy walking distance to most of the attractions and restaurants. The common areas are beautiful and tastefully decorated. It is apparent the owners take pride in their property. Wayne, one of the owners, went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and was a great source of information on attractions and restaurants. Our favorite museum was the Museum of International Folk Art - not to be missed! We had wonderful dinners at Santacafe, El Meson, and Restaurant Martin (right next door). We stayed in the Santa Fe Suite for 4 nights, and it’s gorgeous. The furnishings are comfortable and luxurious. It was nice having a separate living room. The double-paned windows and extra soundproofing made the rooms very quiet, even though the living room faces the street. The breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of food. There was a warm entree, plus fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereals, and wonderful baked goods. Any type of egg could also be prepared to order. Special diet requirements were accommodated on request. We highly recommend staying here. We will certainly recommend it to our family and friends, and will try to stay here again on our next visit.

We arrived late morning and we were greeted by the lovely housekeeper Ruth. We knew we were early and asked just to park our car there so that we could walk to town. Ruth said it was not a problem and gave us directions to the Plaza, a recommendation for lunch and other recommendations of things to see. When we arrived back at the B&B about 3 she ushered us to our room and explained everything we needed to know about this lovely establishment. Later we had cookies in the dining room and directions to other areas around Santa Fe. The room was perfect, big with lots of really comfortable seating and a great bed. Breakfasts were very tasty and it is always nice to have a variety of times to eat breakfast. When we were eating Ruth "the stealth" went to our room and straightened it up so that when we returned it looked like no one had ever spent the night there. Everyone is so very helpful, the B&B is very close to so many of the beautiful areas of Santa Fe and the food was wonderful.
5 sur 5Four Kachinas - Our favorite B&B of all time!
décembre 10, 2009
(We're putting this review here because B&B.com doesn't list the Four Kachinas separately - it's owned by the same folks who own Farolito.) My wife and I have been traveling to Santa Fe (probably at least once a year) for 16 or 17 years, mostly recently in June of 2009. We actually stayed at the Four Kachinas before Walt and Wayne became the proprietors, but only since then have we come to love it as we do. The once or twice we were unable to secure a reservation and had to settle for someplace else has always turned out to be a huge letdown. Five stars is not enough to convey how great this place is - Walt and Wayne are the perfect hosts in every way: in the tastefully decorated, super-clean rooms, in the fantastic breakfasts, in their great recommendations for just about everything - the list goes on and on. Between them, they have an encyclopedic knowledge of everything you might want to do while visiting Santa Fe: hiking, the art scene, the best restaurants, Indian Market, museums, you name it. (They also have an outstanding Pueblo pottery collection!) Hanging out after breakfast and shooting the breeze with them has become an integral part of the Santa Fe experience for us. And above all, the location is perfect. I'm sure there's no other spot in Santa Fe which is so peaceful and serene and also within walking distance of the plaza and all the action. If you want the crowds, noise, and the hustle and bustle you thought you were leaving behind, stay at La Fonda. If you want peace and quiet in impeccable surroundings, go for the Four Kachinas We can't recommend it highly enough.

5 out of 5Four Kachinas Inn sister to El Farolito
octobre 07, 2008
My sister and I traveled to Santa Fe for a sisters get away. My sister lives in California and I live in Vermont, so we try to meet somewhere every year for sister time. My sister has stayed at The Four Kachinas Inn before, I have not but I can't wait to return with my husband. Rooms are large and very comfy, the great thing about The Four Kachinas is that they have 1 room with 2 queen beds, perfect for two sisters. The brekfast is delicious with 1 hot item, homemade breads, homemade granola, yogurt, fruit etc. The other nice thing is they have tea, coffee and home made cookies and biscotti in the afternoon. Really nice after our daily travels in the area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I am sure you won't be disappointed with your stay here.

We stay here every visit to Santa Fe. It is an easy walk to the square. The innkeepers are awesome. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are great. Breakfasts are wonderful. Sit on the lovely patio area. I would not hesitate to recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.
