We stayed one night in the Spy House and it was wonderful! The room was delightful and the breakfast the following morning was better than the dinner we'd had the night before (I won't say where)! We were made to feel extremely welcome and would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a special place to stay.

We stayed three nights in the Cabinet House in early December, and we would definitely stay there again. With the Cabinet House, you have privacy and comfort. Upon entering the front door, you step into the main room that includes a comfy couch from which to watch TV and small dining area. The bedroom is very cozy, with an extremely comfortable king bed, the small but well appointed kitchen has a coffee maker and a good supply of fresh ground coffee, and the bathroom was very clean and had good toiletries available. Breakfast in the main house was delicious! Even though the B&B is located within a short walk to many good restaurants, be sure you enjoy the inn's culinary delights at breakfast, and get to chat with Steve and Kara. They're very attentive innkeepers and have done a great job reviving these buildings. Thank you for making our visit special.

Wonderful, cosy stay. Steve took terrific care of us- whether helping to coordinate a portable crib for our baby daughter, helping us find great local places to eat, or cooking a delicious breakfast. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend!

The Downtown Historic B&B is a quaint and very enjoyable place to stay in Albuquerque, NM. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. The owners are kind and responsive to the guests and they cook delicious food, I was attending a conference and was so glad I chose a B&B over the traditional hotel options. It felt much more homey and like a retreat. I highly recommend staying here!

In addition to a very comfortable room and very friendly and helpful hosts, the "Historical" side of the "Spy House" was a surprising and fascinating extra. Just one caveat. Our shower in the Freeman room didn't have any handholds. That could be challenging for someone with any physical or balance issues. The owners, Kara and Steve, are aware of this and are searching for a good solution. Check with them when you book. Still, I highly recommend this well located B & B.

We had a wonderful experience at this BnB! The innkeepers are very attentive and friendly. I loved the location and the atmosphere and the food was amazing. Kara even overheard that we had a food allergy (banana) and she made sure to have a separate fruit bowl that didn't have banana in it! What an experience! Thank you so much!

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation. The Spy Room had spacious bathroom for a couple. The outdoor areas were very inviting for mornings & evenings. The breakfast offerings are versatile & delicious. Service very helpful.

This was the second time I stayed at the Historic Downtown B&B in Albuquerque. I was in town on business. As such, I had to leave early in the morning to make my appointments. Kara & Steve had items laid out and available to me in the kitchen even though I couldn't make the standard breakfast time that they normally serve breakfast. They had fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, scones, juices, coffee, sodas, and water available. I also had a shipment sent to their location for business. They very kindly received that package and placed it in my room for me. Both houses are a perfect blend (for me) between old and new. Original wood floors, antique door handles, and period furniture were successfully mixed with flat screen TVs, high speed WiFi, and key-less door locks (exterior and interior - no keys to lose!). Plus I cannot say enough about the wonderful claw foot and high-backed bath tub. I soaked in it almost every night. I have met Kara and Steve. They are so nice and you can tell they love what they do. They take pride in their properties and spoil their guests with small touches (like M&Ms in the hallways, handcrafted clay mugs, and gorgeous china plates/bowls ready for everyday use). The backyard is a peaceful and beautiful place to be. I plan to book with them for all of my future trips to Albuquerque (even if I go on pleasure)! I literally can't say enough about this property! Go and enjoy!

This must be the grandest B & B in Albuquerque We stayed in the Ivy room in the historic house and it was beautiful, it was a suite with its own private (massive) balcony, the bed was to die for and was very comfortable. We met the owner Steve when we checked in, he was very personable, he showed us round and told us where everything was. He made us feel very welcome. We had access to a big kitchen with a very large fridge that was full of soft drinks and water for our use whilst we were there, there was also lots of little treats dotted around the house, cookies, chocolates and biscuits. We were the only ones to check in on the day we were there so we had the full run of the house which was very nice. Breakfast was a gourmet breakfast with traditional Mexican food we had neither seen or eaten before but it was delicious. The setting in the Famous Spy House was in a beautiful dining room a million miles away from standard american hotels. I Would highly recommend staying In this beautiful B & B if you get the chance, you will not be disappointed.
