My husband and I stayed at Coastal Cottage July 11th. What a beautiful home!! from the minute you turn the key. The stain glass window at the top of the stairs tells you the history and the fine architecture of this home. Each room has something special tranquil and soothing to offer.. Pam and Marcus are not only lovely innkeepers but have filled this home with high end furnished pieces and momentous. A true "GEM FROM THE PAST". Breakfast at Sweeties DELICIOUS!! Thanks guys, Mabel and Ray :)
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our one year anniversary and I have to say that our experience at this B&B has been amazing! Pam and the Captain are very welcoming hosts. They made us feel right at home in their place. The location is truly AWESOME central to all the major sights and attractions. 15 mins to mystic seaport, an hr to Rhode Island and Boston! Really cute town, and the FOOD in this town is mostly mom and pops places which we like! I highly recommend this place if you're looking to feel right at home. Thanks for having us Pam and Captain!
My fiance and i planned a little trip to mystic to celebrate our 10 years together . We have always preferred bed and breakfasts over hotels. They are always much cleaner and just a more pleasant stay altogether. Coastal cottage inn was very very clean and both Pam and her husband are lovely people. Felt right at home. We are early risers and it was wonderful to have coffee waiting for us downstairs. The house is filled with beautiful decoration . Thanks so much for opening up your home to us ! Betta and Jermaine .
Pam and Marcus provided us with the hospitality one would give to family. They accommodated our specific needs and were sociable yet respectful of our privacy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the living and eating areas were pleasant and had elegant decor.
Even Eugene O'Neill would have been happy to be in New London if he had stayed here with Pam Collins & Captain Marcus Fisk! These are Innkeepers extraordinaire, they go 100% to be gracious hosts. And what a beautiful Victorian home (from the 1890's). Get Captain Fisk -- if you're lucky -- to tell you stories of the sea. He says there are some he can't even speak of, but maybe he will.
We chose to stay for our visit to see our son at the Coast Guard Academy. The home is beautiful, very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is off-site at Sweeties, great breakfast and very personable. The owner is Johnson & Wales culinary trained. It was wonderful in the home, felt like we had the home to use tobe comfortable to order takeoutand have our son relax out of uniform. Be prepared with your own hairdry and travel size shampoo/conditioner. Feels like you are guest in a home rather then hotel.
