We stayed here thru a Living Social deal, so took the chance for a quick and close getaway to Lambertville. We enjoyed the inn very much, the owner and staff were friendly and informative, the property is quiet and interesting, the breakfast were delicious and plenty. The alpacas were just afew, but interesting to see/feed anyway.
Mary and Maurio are incredible hosts and very accommodating. I came with my daughter, and we had a very relaxing mother-daughter weekend, completely unplugged. No TVs and no ipads--it was a dream! The idyllic estate, with fluttering butterflies, water lilies and frogs in the fountain, sheep grazing and a small garden created an enviroment like a fairytale for us. And the breakfast was delicious!
Discovered this B&B years ago based on the fact there was a Pet Friendly cottage and have been regulars ever since! It's our favorite getaway to celebrate special occasions and the first place we think of to go to get away from our hectic and stress times. Our pets looks forward to visiting and the moment we say Woolverton, they are in the car and ready to go! The grounds are so beautiful, its hard not to appreciate the beauty of the land and the Manor House. Love the history behind this wonderful B&B. Mario, Mary and Staff, are so accommodating, and they are sincere.Thank you for providing a Pet Friendly cottage so that Joe and I can enjoy going to our favorite getaway with our pups. They too love the Woolverton, and are amazed by the Sheep and grounds they can take a walk and enjoy the landscape. Kim, Joe, Lacey and Hogey!
My girlfriend and I stayed in Barn Suite #3 for two nights and had a blast! It is within walking distance of the Main Streets of Lambertville and New Hope (about 3/4 - 1 mile) which was a huge bonus. The accommodations were beautiful and we looked forward to the home-cooked breakfasts served each morning. I only wish there were more TV channels, BUT we really didn't do much TV-watching anyway so it wasn't much of an issue. I would definitely come back again.
Our stay at the Woolverton Inn was everything we’d hoped it would be: comfortable, charming, and calm. The food was delicious, and the inn and grounds were quiet and beautiful. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The cotswold cottage was lovely and private, and we particularly enjoyed the window seat (with a view of the sheep) and the two-person whirlpool tub. We highly recommend this place and would stay there again!
Hubby and I have been coming to the Woolverton for many years now and must admit our stay was as wonderful as ever! The new owners Mary and Mario are very kind and passionate about their new venture and have made some nice upgrades and have many more new ideas for the future of the Woolverton. We are so excited for them and their family and also for ourselves as we can continue to experience this little piece of heaven away from home to rejuvenate and relax together just as we always have. Great romantic getaway for couples to relax and enjoy!!
Very attracitve and clean. Here's the weird thing: we get a call on the way w a keyless entry code. Arrive, didn't need the code b/c door was open and code was hanging on the door. Our 'check in' was an envelope on the table w our key and room number. Room was too hot so we called the number that was there if you needed anything. A lovely, courteous and very helpful girl, Giovanna, arrived quickly and reassigned us to a room (temperature was fine, room very nice). Once we were settled in, that was the last we saw of any innkeepers. We left at 7:45AM and bfast isn't served till 9AM, so I have no idea how that is, but there was noone there prepping or anything. So nice place, but it's like a self serve inn.
We just hopped to the Woolverton for a one-night getaway in Asher's Glen. We've visited before but this is our first time with the new management. Everyone was very accommodating. Plus we got to feed the sheep!
The Woolverton Inn is more than a bed a breakfast. Situated in Stockton, NJ near New Hope, PA separated by the refreshing Delaware River; you inherit charming communities filled with fun shops and fine restaurants with every stay. Or you can just turn your brain off and ignore everyone in a blissful setting any time of year.
My first bed and breakfast place and I will have to say that I had an awesome time! Tim and Marissa (innkeepers) made our time even more memorable. They are such a lovely couple who radiate positive energy every time you speak to them. Marissa loves to bake, something I enjoyed at every possible opportunity (her cookies were sooo soft, they were addicting) and their food was phenomenal. Presentation and taste both. I was astonished by the meals they created and the fact that they catered to a person's preference. (If you have any dietary restrictions, just let them know) They are very familiar with the area and local events, so they were able to answer all the questions we had and even suggest other things to do during our visit. Everything about the home/inn was incredible. The theme of the home reminded me of an old school T.V. show. The rooms themselves were amazing, they always had water to drink in the rooms and we were always able to bring snacks up there. At one point Tim and Marissa joined my GF and I on a game of monopoly, which we enjoyed very much. At this point, Tim and I ended up talking about our time serving in the U.S. Navy. I was extremely excited to have found that he was a Navy Vet as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere with much to do around the area. The noise level around the area, is very low and there are wineries approx. 12-20 minutes away. The innkeepers are what truly made this place and our time special.
Thank you to the staff at the Woolverton Inn for making our stay so enjoyable. The room was decorated so beautifully and we loved that we coukd sit out on our own private porch. I had such fun meeting the sheep and walking throughout the grounds. Kudos to Kailea for taking such good care of us and making us feel welcome.
We picked a cheaper room, it was cute and clean but it was very small. You could barely walk around the bed! I would def stay there again, will just pick another room! The breakfast was outstanding, the owner and working staff super nice! Thanks for a nice weekend!
The Woolverton Inn is a truly charming place in an excellent location in the Delaware Valley only a few miles from Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA with many nearby activities, world class antique and art shopping and excellent restaurants. This is a perfect escape from New York or Philadelphia. This was our third visit and we never tire of it. It is a truly beautiful and peaceful Inn with unique rooms and cottages, beautiful gardens (and sheep!). They provide excellent and attentive service and a wonderful full breakfast. We give it our highest recommendation and we are experienced world travelers.
The Woolverton Inn was a total dream. The location is gorgeous, the owners of the B&B are friendly, and the room we stayed in was breathtaking and cozy. We loved waking up to the sounds of baaing sheep. And the breakfast is to die for! My boyfriend and I did not want to leave. I'm even thinking about getting married there. Please treat yourself to a stellar experience, and go to the Woolverton Inn. It is a divine memory in our minds, and we cannot wait to return. - Sally & Devin
