Friendly innkeepers, beautiful house, charming decor, gorgeous setting, and delicious (and varied!) breakfasts and dinner made this place one that I will certainly come back to!

I love the N. Conway area. I went on the internet to look for a place for my girlfriend and myself to spend the weekend. I looked through the list of the usual variety of inns then I saw the listing of Windy Hill Farm. As soon as I saw it was a working farm, I was intrigued. I figured we would take a chance thinking it was probably an old, broken down farm. As we drove the steep road up to the farm, the snow covered landscape became increasingly stunning. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive and see an exxtremely well-kepted home and barn. The write-ups about the house and Anne and Bob are fully accurate. They couldn't be nicer. I asked Bob if I could go out and help with the chores in the barn and he readily agreed. My girlfriend went also and the entire time he provided interesting information about the caring and feeding of cattle. I then went for a walk in the fields in the deep snow with Bob. You can do snowshoeing or cross-country skiing virtually out their back door. Part of the trails were the Jackson X-C ski area go past their farm. We elected to pay extra for dinner and that and the breakfast were wonderful. On a scale of 1 to 10, the entire experience was a 20. It's not right in Jackson center, it's probably a 4 minute drive, but that especially in view of the view from up high, is a plus and not a minus.

My husband and I have stayed at the Windy Hill six times over the past 3 years. This working farm is a short drive from the center of Jackson and is on a beautiful hillside overlooking the white mountains. The main house is a traditional farm house and it is very clean and cozy. We absolutely love the 'queen room' which is spacious, clean and has killer views. The hot breakfast in the morning is always excellent and Anne will accommodate dietary preferences if told ahead of time. It is also possible to arrange to have have dinner here, and we have enjoyed this several times. We are avid xc-skiers and we really appreciate that the Jackson ski trails go right through the back of the property. The fact that this is a working farm adds to the experience of staying here, although don't be surprised if Anne or Bob run out after serving you breakfast to feed the cows. Overall, we feel right at home here and will keep coming back.

I have just spent four nights at this delightful, B&B which is also a working farm. The farmhouse is at the end of the road with a view over mountains and meadows. Anne Petersen, my host, was charming and hospitable, and gave me the run of her home, to walk in the woods, to listen to music or to relax with a book on the parch. I used her home as a base for trips into the mountains and for hikes on the many trails in these parts. A complete break from the busyness of my "other life"!
