  • Hello, we are Leon and Ingrid Wevers-Vinke, your hosts and owners of the lovely Residence 102 in Leiden, the Netherlands
    The bathroom for the Italian Suite in Residence 102 is really amazing with the double showers, double wash basins, jacuzzi and floor heating.
    Residence 102 is the house with the red doors. You can miss it.
    This is our new Studio in Residence 102 with private bathroom and toilet. Also suitable for families with children as there is an extra bed. Max. number of persons is 4
    Our city apartment in Residence 102 is booked by groups and families. It is suitable for up to 5 persons.
    The Italian Suite in Residence 102 is famous. It has a splendid view on the canal, is light and spacious and has a spectalar bathroom.
    À pied par la porte avant vous êtes immédiatement au centre de la ville, à seulement 5 minutes formes les magasins, restaurants, de cafés, de bars et de terrasses.
    Residence 102 is situated just at the crossing of 2 canals (The Herengracht and the Nieuwe Rijn gracht). It is just behind the little stone bridge on the left.
    This is our own kitchen in Residence 102 with terrace. Here we have chats with our guests.
    Moulin à Leyde

    Leidsche de Gracht est situé dans une ancienne maison de la 1600's précoce. Il a été rénové en 1998 mais les anciennes données sont toujours présentes. À pied par la porte avant, vous pouvez marcher sur les canaux et errer à travers la ville antique. Nous avons deux chambres disponibles à Leyde : la kamer Lieve et le Bovenkamer qui partagent la salle de bains (avec jaccuzi, douche séparée et lavabo) et le roofterrace. Nous servons le petit déjeuner sur le roofterrace, sur la grande terrasse ou dans le breakfastroom. Nous avons aussi 2 chambres à proximité d'Alphen aan den Rijn. Leiden est le berceau de Rembrandt est le peintre, le Pilgrimfathers tout d'abord allé à Leyde avant le paramètre de pour les États-Unis et la famille royale néerlandaise, tout est allé (et encore) à la plus ancienne université des pays-bas, de l'Université de Leiden.

    Fantastic stay in Leiden

    Ingrid and Leon are to MOST hospitable people we have ever met. Due to a glitch in our reservation, we arrived a day early on the most crowded weekend of the year (Queen's Day). Rather than sending us on our way, we were given our host's private bedroom! We moved to our reserved room the next day. We were in the far upstairs suite. It is gorgeous, light and very comfortable for a 4 night stay. Breakfast s were a delectable mix of foods,served buffet style. Residence 102 is cozy, tall ( read ,lots of stairs)perfectly maintained and hospitable. If Ingrid and Leon come to Colorado they will be welcomed into our home as FRIENDS!

    My husband and I stayed at Residence 102 in early August. The room was pretty and Ingrid made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

    Home away from Home

    Thanks for a wonderful retreat in a romantic and yet vibrant town. The place was a welcoming spot for us to return to after a busy day. A cousin recommended this place, and sure enough, it was perfect for the 5 of us! If we needed anything extra, Ingrid was always ready. It was clean and bright, and anyone would be happy to relax here. Thank you, and hope to see you again!

    Number One Leiden B&B

    Why stay in Amsterdam? This B&B is excellent, a 15 minute train ride to Amsterdam and 30 to the Hague. Besides, shopping in Leiden is great. Residence 102 is in a perfect part of town, very clean and breakfast is great. Leon and Ingrid respect your privacy, and offer good suggestions on local dining. They have cable tv and free Internet too.

    The French Room

    The French room has a double bed, table with chairs and a washbasin. The atmosphere is French with lovely details and warm colors. In the main bathroom you have your own shower and sink for private use. The jacuzzi is shared with the Italian suite.

    Leiden stay

    Close to bus routes, easy to get to shopping area where we found a good butcher shop, fishmonger, cheese and boulangerie not to mention a grocery store with organic foods. Hosts were gracious enough to talk with us while they were having dinner and to say good-bye early in the morning when we left. Ingrid was helpful in finding the hours of a church we wanted to visit and suggesting a Belgian bar for the array of beer. Museums were especially well done with good signage. Don't miss the Botanical garden. It's a treat for flower lovers and gardeners. L&M

    Wonderful base in Leiden

    We have tried virtually all the hotels and several B&Bs in Leiden over the years but this is the best by far. The rooms are much larger than expected and very beautifully furnished. Guest bath (shared) is great. Location is perfect and offers a canal view. Ingrid and Leon are very accomodating. This will definitely be my home away from home when I return to Leiden.
