    Passant notre maison sur la rivière Amstel, les gens nous disent souvent: "Cet endroit est mon favori absolu de vivre dans la ville." Nous avons la chance en effet et maintenant prêt à partager l'expérience de ce lieu unique et de voisinage. Seulement 7 minutes du centre-ville en vélo, un cadre idéal pour découvrir la ville animée d'Amsterdam. Nous offrons une chambre avec un lit boxspring de haute qualité, salle de bains avec WC, douche, cuisine, connexion Internet sans fil, un espace salon et l'accès à terrasse sur le toit qui offre une vue imprenable sur la ville et la rivière. La maison est située sur la rive du fleuve où vous verrez les joggeurs, les cyclistes et les Amstellodamois prendre une marche leasurely. Nous sommes à quelques minutes à pied des stations de métro et de train; une grande variété de (grand) cafés et restaurants, et un magasin du quartier petit mais bien approvisionné et un supermarché sont à proximité. Le célèbre en plein air Albert Cuypmarket est à quelques minutes en vélo ou en moins de 15 minutes à pied. Sur demande, nous servons un petit déjeuner complet (sur la météo sur le toit le permet) avec pain de blé entier à partir Hartog, meilleur boulanger du pays, et confiture maison, fromage, oeufs, jus d'orange fraîchement pressé, yaourt et fruits. Nous utilisons des produits biologiques et locaux lorsque c'est possible. Pour les séjours plus longs demander des détails et des prix.

    A wonderful romantic holidays

    It was very nice holidays spent last August with my boyfriend. We didn't know this country, but thanks to the warming welcoming of Sven and his family, the beautiful weather, we spent a romantic time together. I really appreciate Amsterdam, with nice houses, good people with always good mood !! :) I will go back soon, for sure ! We also appreciate the terrace on the upper level, to have a beautiful view of Amsterdam. This B&B was located close to the citycenter (around 20-25 minutes by feet) and it was clean. So, thank you, Sven, allowed to give us this opportunity to visit your charming city.

    wonderful 10 day stay

    I had a wonderful 10 day stay at B&B 105. Sven and Ruth were wonderful hosts and I loved having the two cats wondering into my room and lying on the bed. the place is spotless and the metro and shops a short walk away. It is a 5 minute Metro ride into Amsterdam which is really convenient and an evening walk along the canal in front of the B&B in either direction is a delight. Though Breakfast was offered for a reasonable rate I chose to rather do the meals myself . There is a lovely little kitchen with all the required kitchen utensils to enable one to either cook a meal or make a nice salad. I would highly recommend this B&B - Heather Tucker, Western Cape, South Africa

    Beautiful and charming, with a very nice host.

    I was delighted with my stay at B&B 105. The host is extremely accommodating while at the same time quite informal and pleasant. I almost felt like I was staying with a friend. While it's not in the center, it's a fairly easy walk along the Amstel River--or take the Metro: it's just a block from a Metro stop with very fast access to the center, and the Metro is easy to use. The apartment is beautifully appointed and you even have a kitchenette. There are two friendly cats (a plus for me but not for everyone). You have to walk up a few flights of very steep steps (which to me is part of the charm). Exceptionally lovely rooftop garden. The host serves a lovely continental breakfast and offers plenty of choices. I could not have been more pleased.

    B&B105 for Christmas

    We stayed at B&B105 over Christmas '09 and had a fantastic time. The proprietors were incredibly friendly and accomodating. I was amazed at the quality of the lodgings for the rate, and the bed in our room was really comfortable. Breakfast was served at the time of our choosing and was plentiful as well as delicious! Cleanliness is obviously important here, as everything was spotless (especially the bathroom). Highly recommended.
